I love the Brown Buffalo. Been to two of their collaboration meetups in Costa Mesa, California where they are based. I have few of their smaller bags. They're awesome still.

Where did you get those straps?
Although I have some pouches as well as packing cubes, I’m not a huge or consistent user. I’ve been wondering lately about their cost/benefit ratio, since one could easily add many hundreds of dollars in the name of efficient packing and also the ability to rotate packs without the unpacking of these pouches or cubes.
Clearly the use of these items would dictate the selection of bags with or without internal organization.
Do you have an estimate of the cost of the pouches and cube that you included in this comparison?
I asked another reviewer about this but he’s apparently declined to answer.
So, let's see. Wire-Dopp is like $25, Axis is $100 ish, Goruck packing cube is $25, Filip Raboch is custom but realistically any $50 pouch would so the same, Goruck Tool thingy is discontinued but Maxpedition makes something similar for $25. All of this could easily be cheaper with a similar amount of functional ability.
