I have this ukulele and it is amazing! I bought it based on Bernadette's review of the blue one, but wanted one in a more natural wood color. The intonation is perfect at the 12th fret as is the pitch at every fret. The compensated saddle is unusual to have for an instrument at this price. The action is amazing at about 2.75 mm at the 12th fret (or even a little less). The sound is resonant and mellow, not twangy. I had previously purchased a Cordoba 15CM from a retail store which i was never happy with and unfortunately did not return in a timely manner, thinking that poor intonation and a ridiculously high action were to be expected in an instrument at this price range. The Enya EUC-25D changed my mind. There are usually coupons on Amazon that discount the price even below the normal low price. If there is no coupon, keep checking back. But even without a coupon or with all the accessories, this would be well worth the price and more.
I watched you like 2 years ago and stumbled upon your channel again then saw that you have 160k subscribers. Youve grown so much and your video seem to still be great as always
I bought this uke as a beginner 2 years ago. I played it every day and have loved the mellow tone of it. I loved the accessories for getting you started. The extra strings were handy, I am now going to restring it again. Although, I am looking to buy a new uke which will work for more chord melody pieces, I haven't been disappointed with this one at all. I am excited about restringing it now with a low g and will continue to play it regularly.
@Niamh Barrat As i understand in your comment, when you received your ukulele it was with a HIGH C ? Because i would love to buy it but with a LOW C. How do I do that ? Do you know ? Thank you 😊
Never mind everything is sorted now. I bought an Enya Nova U concert. Obviously,I have a high G. I understand now lol 😂 But I already want more ukulele lol Must be part of the deal 🤪

This is a perfect instrument for me to learn on because is stays tuned well and has a warm mellow sound that isn't to loud so that I don't disturb or drive others in my household bonkers with my playing the same thing over and over. :D
I really love this ukulele!!! It's excellent! It sounds great, it looks good and it is super playable. I've heard people say buy the best ukulele you can afford, but I think if you are a beginner, you should buy a very playable beginner instrument, it makes a huge difference in your development. This uke is made for beginners and will help you learn and get better!

I have 2 Enya 25ds. Lovely little instrument to have. Plays well and sounds good. Enya price is ballpark for a mahogany concert. Around $75 here in Canada. I couldn't be more happy with it!

Enya prices have been fluctuating crazily on Amazon. I picked up the tenor bundle for $47 recently. It is a great value if you can find it for about that price. It is not my favorite tenor but it is close and my favorite cost more than twice that.

I have a question about strings. this Ukulélé come with nylon strings (translucent) and Enya give another package of strings witch are white (fluorocarbon). I haven't needed to change the original strings on my Enya 25D Tenor. Do you think it can handle those Aquila strings? Those strings seem to have a thicker gauge and possible higher tension. The Enya 25D Tenor has a thin solid top. I'm concerned that it may not be strong enough to handle the added stress and perhaps begin to warp the top.
Thanks for the review. I found the Aklot AKC23 is a solid spruce topped ukulele that also sounds nice and is affordable. The back and sides are laminate but it still sounds nice. I picked one up a while ago and did a review of it on my channel if anyone is interested.
I'm not sure what "indentation is" but the edges are pretty smooth. On all of the enya's I have, including this one, the strings pull through the inside of the ukulele and are secured by a knot or a little bead.
In general, do better quality ukes have more than 12+ frets? Or is this simply a difference bw soprano and concert uke? Sorry for my musical ignorance😬 This Enya has quite alot, while my Kala's fretboard is very short so I can't follow all the music theory lessons😢😅😅 Looking for an affordable upgrade so advice is appreciated!
S. B. Usually soprano size ukuleles have 12 frets while a concert may have 16 to 18 frets. Tenor is a size up from concert and baritone is a size up from tenor. I learned how to play ukulele on a borrowed soprano ukulele and decided to buy a Sun Star concert of my own that has 18 frets. I also now own a pineapple soprano from enya that has 16 frets. There are a lot of great brands and types/sizes of ukes out there for great prices! ( sorry for the paragraphs but I hope that answers your questions 😊 )

I have a clip on tuner. It looks like it works, but it doesn't pick up vibrations. The tuner just sits there. I hate to buy a new one. What can I do to fix this problem?
