I have autism and I have a 3rd grade level education so this really helps! Thank you! I hope one day I can pass the test.
Wish you the best . Congratulations on trying to make the best of what you got to continue and not giving up. You can do it. I’m hoping to take my ged test and math is my weakness I’m studying at home hoping that I can achieve and gain that ged diploma . I wish the same for you.
you're not the only one who started out with basically a 3rd grade level education. when I first started out I knew almost nothing about math and was basically at a 3rd grade level due to my complicated home life throughout my childhood, and i felt paralyzed. but the more videos I watched and the more I educated myself and stopped feeling ashamed of not knowing the level of math other people my age do, I learned very quickly. i thought i was too old to learn by this point but i wasn't. there really is no shame in going back to the very literal basics and building up from there. this journey is about your growth, not about your pride or comparing yourself to others. i watched mathantics alongside channels like test prep champions, and mathantics really helped me brush up on the basics without making me feel too much like a child. light and salt learning, weiss videos, and purely persistent all helped me too. try not to limit yourself to just one channel because watching different channels can give you a different perspective. I say treat all of them like a combined curriculum. i, myself, have plans to study more and take the ged soon. i believe in you.
Thank you both
You're welcome!! Thank you for watching.
@@TestPrepChampions I'm confused on the part about 9x3 isn't it 27 I don't understand stand the trick part you were talking about

Thank you lol! Sometimes people complain in the comments about my rants. I'd rather try to say everything I think is important than risk leaving something out--even if it takes longer. I'm glad you've been watching my videos and that they've been helpful for you. I'm wishing you the best of luck on the 6th! Thanks again for watching!

You're welcome! Thank you for watching. I really appreciate your comment.
I passed SS LA and science all in 2 days easy. Only thing I did to study was watch your vids. Big thanks, but now I've met my match with the Math. I watch your vids on it but I just can't grasp it. I need to maybe back up a bit and start with the basics. I'm fine with adding subtracting multiplication and division. It's the fractions, finding what the variables are, algebra etc.. I am lost. I got 142 on the math test 3 points shy and am in need of help.!! Any books you can recommend??
Hi Parker, Thanks for your wonderful videos. I was wondering will I be able to use a calculator throughout all of the math problems, especially on problems wherever I may need to use a calculator? Or is it a certain part of the Math section that I would not be allowed to use the calculator? If so, is that part where the calculator not allowed dealing with basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division? Thank you so much for your kindness and dedication.
Hi, thank you for watching and for your comment! I really appreciate your kind words! There are 5 questions that you can't use a calculator for, but you can use it for most of the test. There's no guaranteed way to know exactly which questions you'll get on the no calculator section, but these questions tend to be on topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, exponents and square roots, scientific notation, fractions, and some word problems. I recommend understanding the oder of operations rules (PEMDAS) for this section (and also for the whole test). I hope this helps! Good luck and thanks again for watching!!
Thanks!
