I JUST GAVE MY GED MATHS IN THE MORNING, FIRST TAKE. I STUDIED 1 MONTH ONLY AND WATCHED UR VIDEOS. I PASSED WITH 154 I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!! AND THE LAST TIME I STUDIED MATH WAS IN 2014 IN 8TH GRADE. THIS IS CRAZY KEEP IT UP GOD BLESS YOU!!

You guys I got my GED October 12 of 2023 and i appreciate all of your support.
Also i got too busy with work.
Let me save 75% of you guys some time. Most of those books don’t necessarily have what the test will. Learn the basics of division, simplifying, with decimal and percents. You can get away with knowing that. This is where the 75% comes in at. You’ll have to use basic common sense on some of the questions. I took forever to get mine and got pissed off and just took it and said idc if I fail. I passed them all. I told my buddy to learn the basics and he passed his the next 2 weeks. You’ll get a bit of common knowledge questions.

Hey, I recently passed the ged tests and wanted to share some stuff that helped me. If your goal is just to pass then I have some tips. 1. get good at taking tests. What I mean by this is stuff like process of elimination and trying to understand what they want. Another example is when theres 4 answers and two look similar its probably one of those two. Good educated guesses can get you a far way. 2. Dont overthink it. You dont have to know hard 3d geometry or super advance algebra. All you have to know is the very basics. If you can get a semi solid grasp of the very basics of each subject you'll be good. You dont need to know why the sky is blue for science. But know stuff like why the civil war happened, what parties were fighting and how it ended for example is great to know. Its also good to know in general. 3. A lot of information is within the text. You wont be expected to know too much of what happened but rather be expected to read the passage for it. That goes for almost everything on the ged aside from math. 4. being able to simplify what you are reading and get what they want you to get from it. For every question read the question first then look at the passage. In language arts they might reference a paragraph so all you have to do is read the question then read to there. When you read, dont let your mind fade into spacing off if you have issues with that like I do. Imagine someone reading it to you or imagine the characters are famous people you like. Try to simplify what they said into a form a child could understand in your head. Dumbing stuff down doesnt make you dumb. It makes the most important points/timeline of events easier to understand. 5. Take the pretests they send out. They are only $7 each and the closest thing to the actual test. 6. Dont be scared of the test. Its not that hard. I did with very little studying. 7. Dont spend forever on a question you are clueless on. Theres a option to go back to the question later. Just flag for review and after you answer the rest it will ask you if you want to review your questions. You can go back to the questions you flagged through that. Goodluck and hope that my advice can help some of you guys.
as for the basics this guy has videos of what to look out for in each subject. Watch the videos and list down everything you dont feel confident in or just dont know. Study those then you are good. As for how to study those I'd recommend watching kids educational videos on it. They have a lot more imagery to help you remember. They explain it in a way easier to understand way too.

I just ordered my 2019's GED book And finishing up of my refresh back in 96 I so much wish i could go back in time when i was in 9th grade i wish i would have stayed in school but what happened was i found out i was pregnant with my 1st daughter and here i am 39 getting ready to study my GED😁

So I'm a 41 your old woman I have not graduated from high school and I have been looking to take my GED for years and just allowed things to get in my way but mainly just fear of not passing so I was searching for a video to see how the past test a little bit better I was about to take the class which I didn't want to do and I stumbled upon your video which is truly helping me I ordered my Kaplan book and I just received it yesterday so I thank you in advance for helping me pass the GED

I passed my final test yesterday, math. I prolonged math for so long due to an abusive history for getting math problems wrong. Messed with me mentally for many years. But I did it and passed.
I don't know why I'm back here, but I guess putting this part behind me now is bitter sweet.

I passed all 5 GED first try using your videos only. All subjects I got a 159, 92/100, and 158 in math. I can’t believe in at all. Science I failed 9th-12th grade. And you helped me, thank you thank you thank you thank you so much. I can not thank you enough and literal 22 days before I close on my first home, my goal. Thank you so much man omg! I finished science and social studies today and passed. 12/19/2023 I took the English, math. 12/23/2023 I took my civics and today 03/27/2023 I finished …..thank you so freaking much

I watched this video back in November 2019 when I found out I needed a HS diploma or GED to get hire for a life changing career. This video helped tremendously by giving me an strategy to acquire the GED the fastest way since I was already testing for this job opportunity. I just want to say thank you! And wish everyone the best with their endeavors. I was able to pass all my test in the first attempt. You can do it.

I watched this video after doing lots of research trying to find a solution to delicately broach the subject with a loved-one and help them finally get their GED. I sincerely appreciate the strategies you've put forward and think your advice genuinely demystified the process and speed, and made the direct actionable difference in actually getting it done. As of today, a week after watching this, I'm happy to say my loved-one has put in the work and followed the process- and passed Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science individually- with a final Math test scheduled. I go through these videos before test day, and practicing over on weak areas. Did barely pass GED ready, and moving on taking actual RLA Language test next week.

Queen 99 me too lol.. I got the 2019 Kaplan ged book. Just like he said read through the math lessons and do the practice problems. I’m currently doing that and using the book at the same time . I will not fail the math test again.....

Your videos really helped. I passed the online GED. You might want to add in your videos that paper and pencil is not allowed when taking the online test. Made the math with no calculator very difficult, but I passed

@@nawalimtiaz7313 The science is mostly reading passages and graphs. There's not much to memorize. Math is usually the hardest subject, but everyone's different. You can always try a practice test and see where you're at. You've got some time still. Good luck!

This channel helped me pass my ged two years ago and Im still subscribed. I was gonna unsub since I’ve made it past my goal but instead I’ll stay as the notifications are going to remind me that I did this and passed my test and enrolled in community college and am now a certified phlebotomist . 🎉 also a notebook and a pencil and a good phone is all I needed to pass

It was pretty crazy. I had to take all 4 tests in one day. I passed all but 1 test. I didn't study for any of them and I was surprised that I did so well I'm about to take the last test and it's pretty scary. Knowing that it's a possibility I can fail again. But your videos help me alot so thank you for everything you do for us.

First of all I’d like to thank you for everything you’ve done, helping us change our path for the better. you’re doing a great job! Thank you so much!
I used the same site to study, I’ve been out of school more for than 2 decades and English is not my first language, so its hard for me but this site actually helped me a lot. Especially If you wanna go further let’s say get into college, this will help you prep to get into the next level. It’s a pretty good site. (I highly recommend this) the downsized is It’s long but like he said take notes. Also, this is best for people that came here from another country because you know, we don’t have the same materials and subject like they have here. And most importantly, I recommend go to his UA-cam channel to refresh your memory and you’ll be amazed that all you studied will come out in his channel, and you will get a better understanding and confidence because the way he explains it is very detailed.
P.S- Sorry my English is sucks! But you’re doing great on helping people like me. I only have math left, but with your help I know I can get through this. And I know y’all are too!

I finished my entire 10th grade in 3.5 weeks at the end of that year by working 11 hours a day, This GED test should be a breeze, i'll give myself 2 weeks to get close to 100 percent hopefully.

Take my practice on 3 days ive been studying since Saturday so got a week to study. I have to gety GED so i can go to the army. My friend whose in got me a great recruiter who set me up on a ged free. If i fail it comes with classes. But i cant fail i have to do it i have to go. Too much depends on me passing this. I have people doubting me and people cheering me on. I put this pressure on so ill go through with it. I have to go i have to man up and make something out of my life. Im scared. Nervous, anxious just overall losing it. But im excited at the opportunity. If i do it id be passing 2 big milestones under a month. And just completely setting my life to an ocean of opportunities to study and get a great job. I feel it. Making a story i myself would be happy to read. And happy if its a story only i like. Never felt something like this before. I have to do this

I'm from PA I was sent to Waverly TN when I was 17 I took my GED i passed everything but the math I heard the test is more tough in TN goodluck hope you get it !!
It helps to do what the score report saids it wants you to study you should also study what it is you struggle most on

Be patient and study every single day! Everyday no matter how much time some days u may have an hour other days u may have 15 minutes... Just be consistent. Good Luck

I been studying everyday with teachers and failed that test 3 times math is the reason I dropped out in the 7th grade I didn't understand it and I still don't until this day so I'm just going to give up on this test I don't have time to stress every day and continue to put all this money out for testing between working 12 hour days 6 out of 7 days of week and kids it really changes who you are when you keep falling over and over after studying puts to much stress on you and your family
Sorry to hear you've been struggling with this. You have to do what's best for you and your family. Please take care of yourself. There are more important things in life than the GED, and there's nothing wrong with stepping away from it if that's what you think will be best for your family.
Well... Here is my major issue. Math isn’t my cup of tea!
English is my Fourth language and I can deal with that but Math is soooooo hard for me and I don’t know if I can pass😔

I just got the book! I wanted to do the social studies on August 10th but I am not sure if I have enough time to study? My question is do I have to remember things in history? Or is it more of they give paragraphs and things on the test and u have to give an answer from something on the test? If that makes sense? Thank you!
Social studies is basically a reading comprehension test. So it'll be stuff like reading passages and answering questions. So no, you won't have to memorize any history like dates, countries, capitals, or anything like that. Good luck!

Will this test cover all 4 years of high school?
i’m trying to get this quick as possible and would like your insight on these things. i dropped out of highschool recently only to get my GED because highschool isn’t for me. i passed Algebra 2, English 2, Chemistry, and AP US History. what should my next move be because i am fairly confident that i can get my GED quickly?
I'd start by making a My GED account and taking a GED math practice test,. If you get a likely to pass score, you should be good to take the real thing. From there, the rest of the subjects should be much easier.

Unfortunately, no. You'll have to pay again to take another practice test, but it won't be the same one.
does the kaplan book cover only whats on the GED tests, or does it have alot of extra teaching that would a waste of time and energy, irrelevant to the tests?
