This thing can be a real pain the in a** when putting leafy items in, they seem to want to just pack around the inside of the shredder wall and not get shredded and she knew it when it started doing the same t=o her and she couldn't get the cabbage to go any farther down.
My husband just bought one of these for me for my birthday, he said you could slice pepperoni with it....just in case you are wondering, you cannot slice pepperoni with this. 🤦♀️
Yea!!! She shouldn’t have done that, they could have just actually sorted it out so WE can learn instead of misleading... Still a useful product tho, 👍🏾👊🏾✌🏾🇳🇬🇺🇸
I just bought this on sale with a $15 off coupon on top so I paid very little for it. I don't need it to shred cabbage so I think it'll work for what I want which is basically shredded cheese. Hope it'll shred potatoes for hash browns. I have a food processor for other stuff.
All the vids on UA-cam for this gadget just focus on cheese. Ok if that’s all you need it for. The cabbage shredding I noticed she quickly took it down before showing all the cabbage caught between the drum and the housing. I know that drum is way too dull to cut hard veggies. I used to have the cone style shredders and slicers in the past and they couldn’t cut anything but soft cheeses. I quickly sold them off on ebay!
Tried to slice cabbage/carrot, THE WORST PRODUCT I have ever tried. Cabbage/carrot get stuck between the cylider and casing. Cyliders is TOTALLY blunt so you have to push SOOOO hard that you risk breaking it or tipping machine over. 90% of the veggies you slice gets stuck in the cylinders so you have to stop machine a take it out by a spoon/work. Tried to grind almonds, TOTALLY useless, almonds keep stuck between the cylinder and casing so you wont get a lot of almonds grinded. I can't believe that kitchenaid released such a WORTHLESS product. Will return my ASAP!!!!!!!!
