    Practical, honest, insightful presentation. Really like the topics you chose to address and discuss. Love your candor and transparent commentary. Also appreciate the lack of and/or absence of dramatic emphasis on emotional based embellishments. All in all, a very refreshing review of the bike. Big thumbs up! Thank you.

    For all of the people saying the bike isn’t powerful enough this is obviously not for them. I bought mine knowing what I was getting into and I love every minute of riding it. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time.

      Amen. I wasn’t expecting to love it as much as i do. Forcing me to avoid highways has led to all sorts of back roads to explore. Its great for motocamping. Ive found that its small stature is great for parking in places most bigger bikes would be banned from.

    In the era of expensive gas and insane car payments, this is one way to have transportation and stay out of debt. Maybe for urban only commuters the Super Cub is a slight better choice but I love my CT125 so far. It's an 80's Toyota pickup on two wheels.

      Paid less for my Jetta 10 years ago! My '80's Toyota Pick-up was way more expensive. If you can ride all year round it's affordable. If you live in Canuckistan, not so much. Still want a CT125. Owned lots of big bikes but looking for something docile in my old age. Biggest dealbreaker is the colour. Debating a camo wrap vs paint?

    Now if Honda simply added another gear.....two of the best things Honda could do for this bike is first.....increase production.... second is add another gear....would be greatly appreciated by the buying public.

    • @domenik8339

      They won't increase production because it would be harder for dealers to price gouge. The lack of bikes Honda brings into the US is intentional artificial scarcity.

    Excellent video and info. I agree that many people don't talk about access to good frugal transportation.
    I got into scooters and motorcycles partly to save money. Parking, gas, maintenance and insurance on a small motorcycle was less then a monthly pass for transit in our metro area. That doesn't even take into account the time savings and freedom of mobility it affords you. Little did I know motorcycles would become such a positive and big part of my life.
    17 year later and I've owned many things from 50cc honda scooters up to 650cc motorcycles. Currently I have a Yamaha FZ6 I've owned since new in 2007, a Kymco Spade 150 mini moto I took on a 1200 mile tour and a recently purchased Suzuki DR650. I've had just as much fun, If not more, on the Spade and smaller bikes (scooters).

    Thanks for a very good, practical and realistic review. I've been living with my '23 Trail 125 for a few months. I agree that it's a bike that checks most all of the boxes. I traded my Grom for it. Comparing , the Grom was quicker. I prefer the Grom's 5-speed manual transmission and instrument panel. The Trail 125 has a better suspension and feels better to me, it's a more practical bike for the reasons you mention. If Honda would offer a 5-speed, hopefully with 150cc engine, I'd likely buy it again. Overall a great, practical and fun bike.

    Excellent review and tutorial. Webike sells 2 point connection Barkbusters for this bike. You can also add their bar end weights to reduce vibrations and provide additional drop protection. The oem spinning bar ends pop out pretty easy. I posted a video on all that. I'll be interested to see your mag wheels. That is something I envy on the Super Cubs.

    Great vid. This is the bike (will be my first) that ticks all the boxes for me. If it does indeed end up being "the one" it will actually be my first vehicle, period. But there's a good chance it will be the Navi, for it's price point, to at least get me through the first year (here you can only ride dawn till dusk, and I leave the house when it's dark half of the year and get home when it is for the other half) Also, I love what you said at the end about transportation. Said very well, and didn't come close to being or feeling preachy or shoehorned in, as it (important issues) so often does these days.

I saw the utility and fun of minimotos when I spent time in Vietnam on a Honda Dream (Super Cub) 110. There are millions of them there, and they can do virtually anything - for next to nothing in cost.

    The problem no two speed transmission. One utuber had to push his 125 over a mountain pass in Colorado. He said it was the hardest thing he ever did. I owned two trail 90s and the two speed is everything. The mountain wasn’t that steep of a grade but wrong gearing.

    • @domenik8339

    Yep! I have had my Honda Trail 125 for almost a year now, and it's mostly stock.....and it's been great. I've taken it on some ridiculous adventures. My only complaints are that the suspension (especially up front) is not great, and I wish it could go just a smidge faster. If it were a 150, it would probably be perfect for me. With that said though, I absolutely love it!

      GoPro Hero 10 on a ChinMount custom mount. I live in Atlanta, so we don't actually get snow.

    enjoyed your video , nice job. Question , how do tires perform off road on trails? Thanks in advance

    • @Dailycozwerks
      @Dailycozwerks  Рік тому

      Thanks for watching. I appreciate it and the kind words. Tires are great, honestly. They can spin a bit in wet muddy situations, but generally, just pushing off with your feet a bit solves that and gets ya going.

    how about a wind shield to block the wind.

    • @russellprout723
      @russellprout723 Рік тому

      Depends on size. Anything that will keep the wind off you will also slow you down a lot, especially on a small bike like this

      With them being plastic I worry I would just break it off-road. I am really hard on this bike.
