Hey, just a quick psa: if you absolutely desperately want to pick up shells, try to only pick up broken ones! I know it sucks, but many marine species rely on these shells! Biologists are now recording hermit crabs using plastic debris as shells as there are absolutely no shells for them. Thanks, and always try to embody ‘take only photos, leave only footprints’!

Depends on where you are! Some places/beaches have tooo many shells that they become a hazard. Our beaches encourage taking shells as they just sweep a majority of them and crush them as theres so many and its a walking hazard already
They don't use plastic because there are no shells-- there are plenty of shells. There's just so much plastic that they just pick up whatever's there, and if that's plastic, they use it. I promise taking shells from the beach won't harm the sealife! Try to focus on getting rid of plastic instead.
@ssyeinah please do your research! I promise you seashell depletion is a real thing. Obviously plastic waste is a serious problem and contributes to the amount of animals using plastic for shells but they also do it due to the lack of shells around them. Less seashells are forming properly due to the amount of CO2 in the ocean. That plus the large amount of seashells that people take off of beaches causes more and more creatures to use plastic as a shell.

im sorry I don't! truthfully I don't really get how to create boards etc. 😅 and this video doesn't have linked patterns, just ideas. although im pretty sure you can go on UA-cam and search up all of these ideas to find a (similar) pattern!

hey!! I followed annas tutorial then at the end I reattached the yarn on one side at the bottom and made a bunch of mesh rows till it was long enough & repeated that on the other side. then I slip-stitched both of the sided together !

I know it’s a lot of work. So genuinely I’m not trying to give you a hard time. I just had to ask bc/ a lot of these options are cute. I don’t mind scavenger hunting for them.
