Hey Mike , grass looks great . I have the very same mower . I got it in 2007 . I just had to change the drive belt and deck belt this year . Everytime I finish mowing I blow it off with the leaf blower and I blow air down the flywheel screen while it’s idling . I change the oil at least 2 time a season and put in a new air filter at the start of the season with a fuel filter . 👍🏻
How's she goin'? Del you know how to take care of your gear buddy! When Nannie used to do all the mowing she would always use the 'flush nozzle connection' on the deck and flush the deck for at least 5 minutes after ever mowing. The deck was always pretty clean at the end of the season because of this. No rust at all. Then I would do the regular maintenance on it every spring. There is over 200 hours on the mower and it's still like new. Take 'er easy!!
Hi Mike, its looking really nice can't believe how it was after the storm, am busy on cutting grass as the weather is lovely, better than what we had over the summer months

@@wendingourway I'm just going to say this Bruce, but do you remember when, if we could afford the mortgage payment, we could generally afford a home? Now-a-days the mortgage is the least of the problems and expenses of owning a home. And the worst part is, the civil servants are no more interested in helping you than the man in the moon. I just wanted to know why my assessment went up 75% and they took it as an appeal and wouldn't even answer my questions. There, rant over!!
@@GrampiesWorkshop I hear you all too well!!
Your yard looks nice Mike.. It's nice to have a mower that you can back up without disengaging the lever on the lawn tractor.
How's she goin'? Thanks Jack!! The yard used to look some nice when Nannie was doing all the lawn care!! But since Fiona came through the condition of the property has degraded a great deal and Nannie isn't able to care for any more. The lawn tractor has an ignition key switch position that allows the tractor to mow in reverse. That's pretty handy I have to say!! Thanks for commenting. Take 'er easy!!
Nice haircut there Mike things still looking nice and green eh! Like the different camera angles💯👍🏾
How's she goin'? Renaldo I was thinking of you when I was editing this video. Glad you liked teh camera angles!! Take 'er easy!!
@@GrampiesWorkshop 👏🏾
They both love their home being where it is. Good bush loving folks.
You're pretty slick on the mower in tight condition Mike. Ya shaved off a few high spots so you're good for next time now. Enjoy the lake room, you and Nannie
Hello there Kenny!! The high spots keep coming back Kenny!! That's why I need new blades and a spindle or 2 ever spring!! LOL The lake room was some nice I have to say!! Take 'er easy!!
Good evening Mike. You had a real nice weather day to cut the grass. That was a fair bit of an area to do. Always looks better after a fresh cut. You almost forgot to turn off the fuel, watch out for that hydrlock again, lol.
How's she goin'? It sure was a nice day Paul and I figured I should take a break from the shop insulation project and get from fresh air!! LOL And yes I almost forgot to turn off the fuel. I'm doing pretty good with that, remembering to turn off the fuel and then, more importantly, remembering to turn it on again when I go to use the tractor!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
We've had so much rain and high temperatures here that I've had to cut my about every 5 days to keep up with it!
How's she goin'? It sure has been a great summer for growing grass eh. My son Chris has been cutting the grass for us most of the time, but I wanted a break from insulating and so I jumped on the Husky and did the dirty deed!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
@@GrampiesWorkshop Someone said, Recreation is just a different word for work. Makes sense to me, LOL.
Work my any other name would be as sweet, err I mean hard!!
@@GrampiesWorkshop LOL, er chuckle.
Thats a lot of chasing and turning to get her done but you did it....CHEERS
How's she goin'? It sure is eh Gator. I have to mow around all the damage from Fiona. You'd think I would smarten up and clean up the mess so the mowing would be more straight forward. But where's the fun in that!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
That makes light work of a daunting task Mike
How's she goin'? It's some nice to have the ride on mower Steve. Especially when doing the bank out front. Nannie did it for years with a push mower. God love her, I don't know how she managed!! Take 'er easy!!
@@GrampiesWorkshop Incredible!!!
Yes sir, she sure is!!
Hey, Got first again, WOOHOO.
How's she goin'? Congrats!!! For an old guy you're pretty quick Dean!! LOL Take care!!
Lawn mowing in mid September is against the laws of Mother Nature 😢 That last little bit of late season grass is squirrel feed and nesting material (but now that there’s all that new insulation in the shop for them to choose from, they really don’t need the grass) Heck, they’ll be living high on the Hog this winter, sharing all that warm shop with you!🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿Will you be taking in stray cats😂 too?
How's she goin'? The grass isn't growing too fast these days but it still needs to be trimmed because I don't want any squirrels using it for nesting!! LOL I'd take 20 cats before I'd allow 1 squirrel in the shop!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
@@GrampiesWorkshop You'll soften up with age! Before you know it, you'll be feeding squirrels and really enjoying their company. I wait patiently for that realization to occur--You will experience much happiness, joy and inner peace.🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿
@@EverydayProjects It'll be a long wait, but just for the record, I still have the 'squirrel house' project on the 'to do' list!!1 LOL
Too much lawn for my liking Mike.......awe yes turn off the fuel before you drown the cylinder and fill the base.........you need some goats to keep the grass down..........certainly a great day and soon enough the snow will be flying.
How's she goin'? That's another 'plus' of being on a boat eh, not much lawn to mow!! LOL A goat would be nice, I never thought of that!! LOL Thanks for watching Bryan and take 'er easy!!!
1:43 I saw a herd of wild bologna fleeing your blades. Right there in the brush line.
How's she goin'? Well Tom I believe that's near the spruce thicket where I saw their tracks disappear last winter so you could be right!!! The wild baloney is some hard to spot in the wild!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
