i see alot of the americans mowing and then doing the edges after,i prefer doing it before like how you have it done it,cleaner to me,that mower just seems to eat the grass, but alot people bag the crap outta the toro but it looks pretty good to me,what are your thoughts on the mower?
Thanks! Ah, you asked me about my mower, which is something I love to talk about, so strap in! There is a lot of talk in the industry about the Honda HRU 216; it has a great engine, is tough as nails and reasonably priced for what you get. Word on the street is that the self propelled and other ancillaries no longer last as long as they used to though. This Toro is a little less affordable, but more robust overall, handles well in tough conditions, and leaves a great finish. I've cut foot high grass with the mulch plug in and it was so clean it looked like it was caught. The blade on the mower in this video has since been replaced, so it performs even better now. My opinion is that for a long time this mower has been the best in the Australian lawn industry, with the 216 a small distance behind (I'll get haters for saying that haha). Apparently there is a new kid on the block which has probably unseated the Toro 21 inch, and that's the Scag 21 inch. I haven't used it yet, but I've seen and heard good things, so it's looking to be a possible future upgrade :)
@@BladeMateLawnCare really the scag?,ok must look into it,didnt know they had a push mower, that standon mower looks awsome as well, cheers mate, have a great 2024
I was ready to pull the trigger on the new Scag 21 inch, but ended up picking the same Toro Sean has but with the Honda engine for one main reason; steel deck (Scag) vs. aluminum deck (Toro). I also happen to have the Honda, and even though the Toro is a tick rougher around the edges, the build quality is night and day. It will take anything you throw at it. Cheers.
Jesus is the answer. Whoever is reading this you may feel lost in life; you may feel like giving up, wishing it would all end. You want peace, but can’t find it. You’ve looked for it in women, drugs, alcohol, porn, money, and so much more, but you feel emptier the more you do it. The only one who can fill us is Jesus Christ, the living God; the one who came into this world as a man and died on the cross to save us from our sins (our wrongdoings against God). If you trust in Christ as your Lord and Savior you will be saved and you will go to Heaven when you die. One thing many people think once they come to God is everything will be perfect. The truth is it won’t be. Once you give your life to Christ the devil will attack you over and over again until you break, but Christ is there to strengthen you and to get you through all things. Give your life to Christ my friends. Without him, life means nothing.

I've cut hundreds of foreclosed properties, many over 4 ft. tall or properties other contractors started but walked away from. It was nice to watch another contractor do this the right way. Very therapeutic.

It's nice to see you having to deal with clover. The back had some really long grass. Your attention to detail is amazing. God bless you and your family.
As I look out at frost and frozen everything it was lovely to imagine the smell of freshly cut grass. Nice to see proper grass rather then overgrown whatever. This one looked like grass when it was cut not bald and brown, looked good and I love how you finish the edged so they are sharp makes all the difference
A good clean cut, Sean, beautiful grass, no rubbish. It must have been a breeze to do. Looking forward to more of your videos. Blessings from Geelong, Victoria ❤😊😊
The front could have been done so easily by anyone but that back... oof that is some tall but thick grass. You did a great job, Sean! Looking forward to the next series!
Beautiful job as usual Sean. That grass looks very healthy. As thick and tall as it was, I thought the underneath would have been more yellowish or brown. Glad it wasn't!
I'm from the USA, Minnesota. Love watching your videos and all the extra care you put into every job!! Love that beautiful thick long grass. So luscious and satisfying to watch being tamed!! 😂

That place is so cute!! Easy to maintain and that has to be the smallest divider between properties I have ever seen!! Great job Sean. Can't wait till next week! Happy Holidays from the beautiful Columbia River Gorge! We just got our first snow on Friday. 🎄❄☃
G Day Sean. I am always happy to participate in helping your people !! Lots of tall grass. And no slithering serpents in the tall grass. I guess not in suburbia, no? And another "Reclaim from the BUSH series coming !!" Fabulous. Hope all is well down under.
Loved this one, so compact and scare-free! No places for nasties to lurk! Just beautiful green grass! Looks like the next series has loads of green grass and plenty of lurking spots as well! Can't wait!! Oh and thanks for the joke at the start of this!!! As if Mr Generous would only mow half that shared strip!! I'd have never believed you were serious! 🤣😂👍🏻
That was beautiful work Sean. Sorry I missed the premier but that has made my Sunday evening. I’m sure your client would have been overjoyed with the results. Looking forward to seeing the upcoming series. Best wishes to you Claire and family 👍💎👍💎👍

We had a sunny day here in Victoria where I live and everyone was mowing thier lawns before the rain hits again on the weekend. When you started doing the backyard I remembered you saying you have had a lot of rain, hence the length of the grass . It doesn't take long for grass to get to looking a tad feral after a good dose of rain, another job done to perfection Sean, hope you and your family have a safe and wonderful Christmas day and New year.

Problem is with the Toro it only has the 1 long blade where the Honda HRN has 4 swing blades that cuts the grass better when wet in my opinion.

Gorgeous work as ever, Sean. Looking forward to the next series!

Hello from Texas Sean. Have a good Christmas 🎄 😊 everyone.
That mower does an amazing job capturing the clippings. Most do not work near that well.
Great job Blade Mate! 1st time on your channel and that was very impressive.

Im surprised just how lush green that looked when cut, was expecting yellow or brown !! Nice job !! 👍👍👍🇬🇧
