How to Replace Subaru Dash Clock Light Bulb/Lamp | Easy

Subaru dash clock light bulb replacement on 2003-2008 Subaru forester production years (03-08). It appears that this bulb does not last long. This video demonstrates simple and easy fix for dark clock screen. There are no tools required for this repair. Just remove storage compartment and replace the blown bulb #2723.

That looks easy enough, although it seemed to be quite a struggle to get the lightbulb assembly back in correctly. I believe that I'll just continue to live without the clock light. With my luck I'd never get it to go back in properly. 😅

Yeah, you’re right. There’s snot enough space, so my fingers would not fit in. And the plastic is really brittle.

I just did it. Took all of 3 mins. If you have a pair of needle nose pliers it takes like 30 seconds to twist the bulb holder out and in. Super ez and worth doing. You can do it too!
