This game could definitely be used as teaching material in military academies. It could help a lot with understanding tactical situations and improve overall student knowledge, decision making skills and results.
Oh, that was you that game. Yeah, 3 FOBs is too much. I saw 119th player had dropped his as well right at the last minute and would have probably have axed mine if I had time. If I didn't have too split my attention between the two sectors I could have microed my AA and artie better. Honestly surprised I went positive that round. Right wasn't really the best side for 119th.
Im trying out 82nd coming from the 35th on pact side and the lack of good arty is really hurting me. I know 82nd firepower mostly comes from the sky but they're a bit situational and not always at the ready. I mean 105mm guns is fine but being a towed piece is really inconvient compared to self propelled ones of the 35th (Vasilek, Nona, Mini Grads). Any tips to remedy this gap in capability??
The main weakness of 35th is the anti air. You are powerless against someone with good AA and airplanes. The main weakness of 82nd is similar but at least the avengers and vulcans, together with eagles will be a high risk for enemy planes. If you depend a lot on artillery, it has more to do with your play style. Use it differently, use it to smoke off enemy units rather than destroy them. The 105 is great against infantry and for fast smoke. 82nd vs 35th will probably go to 35th if teams are of equal skill and if it's a town fight but if it is out in the open, 82nd will win easily with the amount of good planes, gelis and ATGMs you have. Play to the strength of the deck and stop depending on arty when playing an infantry deck. That's what I think
Any player whit more than 2 braincells can counter this strat all u need is tube arty and a couple of tanks and then its just moping the infantry I'm shocked how the dude on your side did not think of this is he new?
There was a ton of artillery on me and I was spread out and kept the pressure up. If I didn't do anything, that strat will work yeah but as you have seen, he did indeed arty and push occasionally. I just had too many defenses
@@SaucyNetworkEntertainment his pushes were scaterd and innefective he pushed 2 bmp2 that instatly got killed he was defenatly a new play of course that there is the factor of suprise after all nobody expects airborne to go to the left but nonetheless his arty strikes were a joke a grad hit inbeteewn houses smh the mortars did nothing and he still failed to buy tube arty to counter your atgms or buy more tanks that if propely microed can an easy counter he was def a new player which failed to read the situation of the battle hopefully he learns from his mistake
He can't control what the rocket arty hits and he can't control the damage done by his mortars, I also had a ton of supplies with me. He and a teammate both worked on trying to just contain me instead. Hindsight is always 20/20 and all I'm saying is that my push suprised them and the moment I had all that AA and long range anti tank units including helicopters, it was over. Even if they pushed with a giant force of tanks, my helis would have taken care of it. Even if they bombed a lot, they would lose most of the planes so I think it comes down to how much they can invest without losing the rest of the map
your TOW-2 at the edge of the town deserves a medal of honor
Just imagine how good, a real life, high ranking military commander, who plays this game as a hobby would be.

Feel bad for those Russian recon just sitting there for half the game, praying the airborne don't see them, only to get wiped out by an abrams
