@@andresmartinezramos7513 I dunno, the ability to rapidly airdrop large amounts of supply to the front would be bloody handy. Although presuming it's immobile it's then artillery bait if the enemy see where it lands.
Honestly the best use of the drones might be as SEAD; pair them with an EW plane/helo and a SEAD platform, or even just some arty on hot key or a LGB and they can spot targets that aren't radiating and draw fire/reveal locations for ones that are or for infrared/unguided platforms. Two of them together should mean that even if one of them is shot down, the other can still spot/draw fire.

This is a great looking map, especially that Quarry area and I love the placement of the zone in between them. I really like the look of this division, lots of great units available and those SU24s especially are the cherry on top. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you can do with that new French division too.

This is technically historically accurate, as the Soviets had UAVs during this time period. If the cold War was to ever go hot, they would have most certainly utilized these UAVs in some capacity.
Drones are not a new technology, they actually used them in WW2. Israel's Operation Mole Cricket 19 in 1982, (the biggest air battle since the Korean War at the time), featured heavy use of recon and decoy drones.
Been playing with and on the receiving end of this new division, and lemme just say. Eugen probably needs to nerf the air tab. My four MIG31s in 10v10 negates any NATO airplay. Even the f15 eagles struggle to shoot down my planes 😅
Thermobarics, they've *stated* that it should affect infantry more, but that's utterly silly. In real life Thermobaric weapons produce a much larger, more powerful blast wave than conventional explosives, with much much higher impulse. They're second only to nuclear weapons in terms of blast wave strength, duration and impulse. They SHOULD be massively more effective than HE at destroying armour and buildings. And unless the tank is Hermetically sealed (and none of them are) they crew should die from Thermobarics party trick;- Barotrauma from the rapid changes in air pressure.
Hate that the Shmel has an obvious audio cut out... That being said, not a huge fan of either divisions. They're alright, but I wouldn't personally use them over another div
