@@hansolo5240 seriously? That's awesome! As long as it runs, the old ones will last a long time. I have a friend with a 98 4Runner with close to 400,000 on it, he puts over a hundred miles on it every single day. I'm seriously considering selling mine and buying an older vehicle, like a Tahoe, for three grand. I have this compulsion to pay mine off, and I'm tired of sinking all my extra income into it.

Correction: I got around 20-21.5 mpg on that trip and I had bald tires and needed an alignment. I was also heading over that same pass after I got new tires, with 3 people and probably around 600+ pounds of cargo including the 3 people and got at least 19.5 mpg.

As the owner of a Comanche almost exactly like that one (4wd lifted same transmission, short box red 3.10 gears etc.) I feel like this represented them pretty well except I swear those aren't the right power numbers for the 4.0 of the year and that transmission isn't as bad as they say. I have 260,000 miles and have used it in Moab and beat the thing hard on thousands of occasions and only broke it once. I blew the reverse by my foot slipping off the clutch with 1600lbs in the bed and it revved up a bit.
