This vid will show you how to go jigging for flounder on bridge pilings. I also did a flounder catch and cook showing how to fillet flounder and make these ugly fish taste amazing. No matter if you have a boat, a kayak, or you are land based- you can duplicate a bite like this on your nearest bridge pilings.

Really cool how you have a true passion not only for harvesting fish but also trying different ingredients on your catch to give it a special taste of your own. Tight lines

New drinking game .... Take a shot everytime Jeff or Christy utter the phrase "hello people" "alright people" "whats up people" in a video.
Guaranteed to have a good time every video ... possibility of alcohol poisoning, so be careful.

Try along the banks of the James River and in the estuaries. We have been tearing them up on the kayaks.

Is there any reason not to try the same technique from a pier around the pilings? I don't have a boat and I want to catch flounder. I'm in Newport News and new to the state.

  • @kennywilliamson3164

I know everyone has their own way to cook fish but DAMN!!!! Fish should be kept simple. Just about every clean and cook vid you do ends up like a science project. Flounder is one of the best eating fish in the bay and should not be covered with everything you can find in your pantry especially garlic powder or garlic salt and if so all you need is a pinch. The time and money you put in to harvesting fish should respected by not disguising it’s flavor with a bunch of crap. Save all that for carp and oyster toads
