Personal tip from implementing the video, add the peanut butter in multiple smaller portions else might get lumps while making the oats and almond balls.
I make homemade coconut milk (1 cup desiccated coconut - 4 cups water - 1 pitted date) and I use the remaining pulp to make protein balls just by adding 1 scoop of protein powder (mine is cookies and cream flavour). It’s delicious 😋
These look wonderful, and I appreciate the flavor variations. For my personal taste, I think I would add a bit of vanilla and salt. Adding hemp hearts to any of the flavors might work well also.
Oh dear they look fantastic. Love your presentation. I like that you got the recipe ingredients on the side, that’s so helpful. I am starting right now. Some healthy sweets for my girlfriends, which I meet tomorrow. Question can I put the excess in freezer and for how long? Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
Mmmmmm... Coconut flavour taste sooo good!! I like your coconut protein bars soo much!! That taste soo delicious and crewy dish! Great dish!! See u anytime!!
Sooo... I may be a little too precise about it, but I often find it hard to eyeball from a video: how much is a scoop? Something like a heaping tablespoon?
The scoops that come with my whey protein powder holds 5.5 tablespoons worth (packed in). I weighed a full packed scoop in at .9 oz. 1 scoop has 20 grams of protein, so if I made this recipe with two scoops, that's 40 g prot. It seems each recipe makes about 8 balls. That brings each ball to 5g protein. I calculated 7 of those dates to be a whopping 485 calories. If I made these, I'd replace the dates with monkfruit sweetener, it has zero calories and tastes just like sugar. But then I'm wondering if they'd be sticky enough to roll into balls, hmmm.
How big are your protein powder scoops? Like every brand has different sizes... Actually, some brands might even have different portion scoops for their different formulas 😅 Just grams or mls could really help...
In case anyone else was wondering I thought I'd provide some info that I found... Looking around I've found protein scoops that range from 30ml-70ml. However, I think most are about 50ml - so I think this could be a good place to start? Looking at two of the more major protein suppliers in the UK we have My Protein: 25g/45ml; Bulk Powders: 30g/55ml (I typically use Bulk Powders). Not sure if this is just a UK average though and I'd love to hear what size other people's protein scoops are :)
If they use 2 scoops of protein usually 1 scoop is 25-30g protein. So if the recipe makes 5 balls then that’s 12g protein per ball? I would like to see a lower carb version. I’m definitely trying the peanut butter one!

i am really craving some hairy fussy protein balls!😊
if i use olive oil instead of coconut oil is it okay?
Nikolas Chatzikyriakou that probably wont work. But if you have grape seed oil I would try it out
If i make these and put them in a box and leave the box in the kitchen how long will they last before going bad?
how long can I keep those protien balls outside the fridge? or should i keep in the fridge?
Always better to keep in the fridge. Up to 5-6 days in the fridge.
Calories per ball pls ?

Looks yummy and easy 😋
Amazing
This video had no right to be this damn funky, I could barely watch it because I was so busy jamming out to the soundtrack.
What kind of protein powder you suggest? Because it makes a word of difference whether you use neutral flavor or vanilla or others.
I used vanilla, but you can try different flavors. For example, if you make the cocoa balls, you can use chocolate protein powder.
what kind of protein powder? vanilla or unflavoured?
I would recommend unflavored!
don't need to bake or put in the fridge?
That looks delicious!!!
Can I get the macros for each piece??
That's a lot of work, maybe I will try to do it later.
The Cooking Foodie
If you can would be awesome but if you can't no problem... 😉😉😉. I'll try to make the recipe no matter what
Its quicker if you just add the ingredients you use in myfitnesspal or similar app.
