I pick up a rev 1 for 170 and a ns4fx for 280 on black friday from ebay . For a grand total 450 bucks . Which smokes a a rane 4 or pioneer flx10. Cause now you get controll of all four decks and crossfader . The crossfader assignment on the ns4fx is key for doing this. Also you get all the effect from both controllers. You can get really ceeative with your dj set up.
Do it get the ns4fx on sale Black Friday and run it with your numark . It's not an upgrade. It's an add on. I mean what's the point of 4 channels that share two pitch faders ? Now you get all four channels with 4 decks , 4 pitch faders , 4 padal effect , 32 performance pads.
Yea I’m one of those DJs who does not have the budget right now. My Vci-380 is on her way out the game😔. I was trying my to go with a pioneer one (really really want the new rane); but i gotta work with my budget at the moment. Also the pioneer controller that caught my interest and not too heavy on the pockets is on back order and I got gigs rest of summer😩. I also have my 5 year old daughter’s party to finish planning and need my coins for that LOL😆 .. Thank you so much for this review. I’m gonna do a few more searches and if I can’t find anything else by end of this week, I’m going to give this a try. Thanks again! 🙏🏾
Hey Lei! The new Pioneer Rev One or the older SB3 are awesome controllers for between $200 to $250. And Numark makes an impressive controller with digital display decks like these for around $250
Hi Lee. Can I ask you as I need to know if you can manual loop on the NUMARK NS4FX as I can't find how to do it rather than auto loop. Please Explain. Thanks in advance
Hmmm. I am not very familiar with Denon products but I understand that they make great stuff. The Pioneer DDJ-SX2 is an awesome controller. The sound card is very good on it and the build quality is top notch.
i run one with Virtual DJ 2021, you get access to all channels and all features, however, I've got the NS6 ll, the best controller, I've ever owned, always hoped that Numark may have moved to an NS6 lll , and tided up some weak point's on the MK2. like the Microphone control, and placing a switch on it, like the NS4 had (I wore that controller out), and also put a digital Microphone that would run through too DJ software, So that you can stream and record, I use a Focusrite Scarlett for streaming my sets, maybe this feature is similar on the NS4 FX to what I'd love to see on an NS6 lll (If they ever build one) However, I do like the look of the looping buttons on the NS4FX, I'd like to see similar on an NS6 lll, however, I bet Virtual DJ would unlock the control in the due cause, I did, unfortunately, purchase a Pioneer DDJ FLX6 (i was not impressed) as a backup controller while the NS6 ll was in for repair, however, Virtual DJ did a fantastic job of mapping all effects on the DDJ FLX6 including the big Magic Button, or a your "Get Out Of Jail " control., where you can change music style or big BPM variation. I'm still wondering why Numark stopped the production of the NS6 ll, after such a short production run and seemed to move more toward more budget and mid-level controllers and streaming stand-alone? Just another point to note my Numark NS6 ll cost me 500 euros in 2019, if you want one now, I've seen them online for sale now at $1500, three times their original price, I wish Numark would move back toward flagship models. Great Review love your work, Best Wishes from Zakynthos Greece
I can probably tell you why Numark no longer produces higher end level controllers-Numark is owned by a company called InMusic, who own many ProAudio brands such as Akai, Alesis, and importantly Rane and Denon, which are delegated to higher end, flagship-type models like the SC6000. I assume they mean for Numark to occupy the more entry level area of the market.
You should get a numark platinum fx two channel with the digital display and run it with this 4 channel . Why? You get all four decks with dedicated effect and pitch control. And also you can run two different controllers for one deck . Why ? You get all 32 pads. Go get another one ( two or 4 channel ) and run them together .

Best review on this so far. I have a Platinum FX which pretty dope, but thinking of upgrading to the NS4FX for when I go on the road for gigs.
Thank you

Hi there a good sound on the mic I'm use to bass and treble how does tone work mate
Can I turn off the bpm counter on the jog?
How's the Scratching on this unit?
I want this but I’m on rekordbox already. So after the cost of adding serato I feel like I should save a few more dollars and get a 800 or used 1000
I agree with that strategy! 100%

I must ask, what travel case are you using for this controller?
I returned this controller.

Yes. You HOLD SHIFT and press the LOOP 1/2 button to set the LOOP IN point. HOLD SHIFT and LOOP 2x for LOOP OUT point.
Does it work with virtual dj thanks
Yes
I'm in 2 minds, don't know weather to buy the Numark NS4FX or the Pioneer Rev 1....?
Numark all day on this one, I'd even recommend the Mixtrack platinum FX over the REV 1
I have denon mc3000 what would you say this or sx2.. I only do weddings and I am a vitural dj guy

how is the clarity on the mics?
I've seen reports they suffer from distortion on this model.

Thanks for the awesome comment! Very in depth and I agree on all your points

Thank you , just saw your comment, such a shame that Numark has gone backward in it's style of controllers@@djhd3000

Running a ns4fx with a pioneer rev 1 or numark fx would be worlds better than a rane 4.
I’m interested in this idea but how do you run de two controllers on the same software?
At 4:10 this is not a metal yet ,yuh def ???? This is plastic bredda pure chemical plastic
