Two of the many things I love in life are coffee and dessert! So here is a delicious way to combine the two for a Whole Food Plant Based, Vegan, refined sugar free, oil free and dairy free treat. We came up with this idea after falling head over heals for this smoothie at a local Plant Based restaurant, Pure Juicery. This creamy delight is sweetened only by the seriously ripe frozen bananas and will give you a nice mid afternoon energy boost.

Love this video. I know you like to avoid oils, when you purchase store bought almond milks, they add oils and stabilizers to the milk. I purchased a nutramilk machine and it makes making your own milk so much easier. You may want to consider that. Thanks for all the great videos.

OK I have to thank you for the African peanut soup recipe....You were right....OMG....We couldn't stop eating it. I subbed 3/4 of the peanut butter lol with 1/2 cup PB2 and 1/4 cup Barny almond powder I did use 1/4 cup real peanut butter... It was creamy and delicious …. It felt decadent with out all the fat and calories.....

Ďid you know you can make almond milk from almond flour? You don't need a nut bag. One cup almond flour to 4 cups water and blend in high speed blender.
I have almond meal so it’s “grainier.” Do you think I’d need a nut bag for that? Trial & error, I guess. Definitely going to try!

What a great idea for coffee lovers! 👍 I make my nicecreams with just the frozen bananas, with no plant milk, that way, it comes out like a thick creamy ice-cream 😋😋😋 And I mix up the flavours by adding the frozen fruit or berries I fancy - mango, blueberries, strawberries etc. Yum!

Delicious coffee smoothie! I don't like an ice coffee drink, but I love to have this smoothie/refreshing desert, after lunch , as an energy boost in any hot day. I find the stage of ripeness of the bananas before they are frozen really makes a big difference in the flavor of this drink. Thank you, Jill!

Well I’m going to try this with decaf for nighttime. Because that would be quite a bit of caffeine. Sounds yummy.

This looks really interesting! I miss mocha/coffee flavored ice cream. I'm excited to try this. What's up with the peanut butter though? Is it for flavor? Does it have a coffee and peanut butter taste? Or is it for some other reason, like texture?

I wondered as well, but I think it must be for 'mouth-feel', you know, to get that creamy tongue-coating thing you'd normally get from dairy fat. I think I'll try a more neutral butter like almond.

Have you tried frozen zucchini? Gives it thickness and doesn't add flavor.
