    To clarify , the gluteus Maximus is the strongest muscle in the body by its gross output of force , but if you also wanted to know the strongest muscle compared to its weight that would be the masseter. These are the best animation anatomy videos I have seen.

    Wow. So much useful information, presented with beautiful clarity. Fascinating to see all those smaller muscles that hardly anyone else ever mentions, and to hear details of their function.
    Thanks!

    How is extension greater with a straight knee at 4:15? Seems like when you flex the knee you get more extension?!? I’m confused

    Sir, in chaurasia book it says semitendinosus, semimembranosus, and biceps femoris are weak extensor of hip and adductor magnus hamstring part helps in extension of hip. Give clarity sir..

    • @AnatomyLab
      @AnatomyLab  Місяць тому +1

      you will find different explanation in different books. I used The one that Makes most sense to me just use whatever makes more sense to you or what your professors want to hear😉

    2:24 one of the hamstring muscles only crosses the knee and is not biarticular.

    • @AnatomyLab
      @AnatomyLab  Місяць тому +1

      I’m not quite sure what you’re talking about. Maybe you are referring to the short head of the biceps femoris. Please explain what your point is I really don’t get it

      these are victory signs what else would they be? It’s interesting. Some people are put off by. This must be a Cultural thing, that’s why I changed it in later videos thank you so much for letting me know
