Am I the only one who thinks that the ways other people (especially this fellow) teach about the bones of the human body, their joints, articulations etc are so fascinating and way better than the way it is taught in class by most professors (especially in Lab classes) 🤔?????
I thought the same, and surely many here did. In my case, the biggest difference is that he teaches things connected and describing their function, whereas my teacher used to show us completely in separate (bones, muscles) and with no overall description of function. That makes a huge difference in making a student understand anatomy.
Just saw this video. I am 72 year old physician and I learned my anatomy in 1970! It’s absolutely amazing how things become simple with a beautifully created video demonstration.thanks 👍
I love how calm and slow he talks. It makes all these concepts feel so much less daunting. Also In general I would learn so much better from videos like this than I would in a lecture with soulless power point slides with burnt out teachers reading them as fast as possible. If i just went to school and just watched videos like this I would know so much more than I do in lecture. Like just show me movies and videos and have a teacher there if we have questions. As of now I cant focus in class and I learn 95% of the material at home by myself with quizlet and these types of videos. THANK YOU for this video
What an amazing teacher you are!! I've returned to School at 65 years old and I can say this is the best video I've ever seen. Thank you for the great explanation!
You are the teacher I wish I hard in high school, that can talk to my neurons, not frustrate and leave them in shock😂…., I had PTSD trauma from being pushed to memorize too much, and pacing far ahead of my proper joyful assimilation of knowledge and my inborn genius, …but now, these days🎉🎉🎉🎉
As always, a simply outstanding video. I have been practicing medicine for a long time, but I always learn a great deal when I watch these videos. Thanks very much for your excellent work!
Your video on the human shoulder anatomy is incredibly informative! I really appreciate how clearly and precisely you explain each part, making it easy to understand. Your expertise in this area is truly impressive. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
you have no clue how helping these videos are, thank you on behalf of millions like me who could not understand the pace and the way teachers taught us! all of them were good teachers but i think this is what we needed! thank you !
Oh man... I'm a Physiotherapist from class of 2015... And now I moved to Canada, preparing for my registration exam here.... I came to this video and oh my goodness... you're just so simple and still very clear idea. You made it so easy ❤ Thank you God bless u brother ...
I have Abnormal signal suggestive of tear suggestive at the superior and posterior superior glenoid labrum. Mild tendinosis of the supraspinatus. Mild tendinosis of the infraspinatus. Mild degenerative changes of the left acromioclavicular joint.
I really appreciate the time spent just trying to explain everything. The presentation is great and understandable. I just started my first year of med school and everything can be overwhelming in lectures. So your channel really helps me prepare for my practicals and understand everything that my professors in college don’t take time to explain. This is the useful kind of content on the internet and I hope you know that you are truly helping me and probably many others. Thank you again my online mentor 😊😁
Im having a shoulder replacement in 10 days and you’ve helped me understand how my shoulder is structured. This will be helpful with my rehab, as well as understanding my surgeon and my MRI report. Excellent presentation! Thank you😊
Thank you soo much Sieb, showing appreciation from London. You helped me last time to pass my anatomy exams. This video is about to prepare me for my 2nd exam. So grateful for your videos, you make it soo easy to understand the bone and muscle anatomy. ♥
Thank you so much for your video, it is really informative . I found you because I am having shoulder surgery soon. I am very scared😢, and I just wanted to understand a little bit more about my anatomy. I truly appreciate your video… God bless you.
Great information, easy to visualize and follow everything he says and shows, excellent rundown that'll prepare me for my shoulder/rotator cuff visit with my doctor next week. Thanks!
Amazing video. I have been banging my head with the positioning of parts of scapula and the muscles of rotator cuff. After your explanations, those anatomical complications have turned into a cakewalk. Thanks a lot.
You are my study partner 😅. I use you as my companion while I study for my board exams and you just run for hours on nonstop in the background. There is something magical about your delivery and your voice that helps me focus.
This content is awesome. Thank you. I had accident during which I broke clavicle and shattered scapula close to Glenoid Cavity. Now my joint is connected to scapula with screws. I'm currently working with physiotherapist and rehab my shoulder to be able to move my arm again. It is frustrating and painful, but thanks to this video at least I know how it works and why it hurts during the movement.
This video is so good ! Because now that I’m in the muscle chapter of A+P, I’m realizing that I didn’t build a strong core knowledge of the intricate details about bones such as the ligaments, bone markings, features and etc. Learning about the origin and insertion of muscles was a little confusing for me because I couldn’t recall those minute details of bones but I love how this video ties it all together and I also like how you demonstrate the action of the muscle because some of the videos on here only say it verbally.
Thank you so much for all the effort you put into teaching. I took college Anatomy and physiology online during covid-19 and it was super hard. I wasn't planning on nursing at the time but now I am getting ready to take the TEAS and honestly after watching almost all your videos I feel so confident. I even got a shirt!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! p.s start teaching Math too please lol
Aw, thank you so much for the kind words and for buying a shirt! (I don't sell merch very often, so it's really cool when someone buys something, haha!) Good luck luck on the TEAS exam! As for math, I'd love to do some math videos, but most of the videos I've done outside of anatomy & physiology don't get a ton of views. Maybe someday though!
Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! I am studying for my MBLEX test and i am a very visual learner. Going through your videos, and following along with you, has helped all the material finally make sense. 🎉
You know anatomy and how to impact the knowledge. Thank you for your effort. It is much appreciated. I have subscribed which is a testimony of the high grade of your teaching. Well done
Thanks man keep it up it really helps ! My teacher aint as good as you ( teaching wise not knowledge wise) so i need to look up for better explainations and you definitely help thanks 🙏🏼
Thank you for this video. I'm an avid weightlifter and have recently gotten into swimming. I have really tight and possibly weak shoulders, which is affecting my swim game. Looking to add flexibility and strength where understanding the rotator cuff muscles and function will be of great assistance.
Helpful, I’m having a lot of shoulder pain, Understand it better now,all kinds of ways to hurt a shoulder it would seem, amazing to think this all developed randomly with no planning.
This is the best video I've found that goes over the bones, ligaments & muscles all in one video. Thanks. The only thing seems to miss in the glenoid labrum, which is what the long head of the bicep tendon attaches to. It's not clear from many diagrams whether the glenohumeral ligaments are actually separate from the shoulder capsule, or if they are just the ligaments that make up the shoulder capsule?
This is EXACTLY what i was looking for!!! Thank you so much. I was always wondering why my humeral head moved slightly inward during side laterals😂 also, could you answer this simple question ive always wondered about? When arm is raised overhead, there are two main paths : flexion and abduction. During flexion arm internally rotates past 90 degrees and during abduction arm externally rotates, is it correct to understand this is due to glenohumeral centration?
@margaretrattenbury7873 I did have pain in coracobracialis decades ago. If I remember correctly I thought it was from bench press. It assists in lifting the upper arm in an inward movement, I thought. That problem went away by just reducing bench press for a while. That muscle isn't a main mover. So it shouldn't be a recurring problem. But it were alarming for a while, because it looked like it was a large swollen blood vessel in the arm pit!
Am I the only one who thinks that the ways other people (especially this fellow) teach about the bones of the human body, their joints, articulations etc are so fascinating and way better than the way it is taught in class by most professors (especially in Lab classes) 🤔?????
I agree 100% he is awesome!! I learned more from his teaching approach than several other sources.
I thought the same, and surely many here did. In my case, the biggest difference is that he teaches things connected and describing their function, whereas my teacher used to show us completely in separate (bones, muscles) and with no overall description of function. That makes a huge difference in making a student understand anatomy.
Honestly
I couldn’t understand a thing in the lab…had to run here😂
You all are too kind. Thanks for the kind words, and best of luck to everyone here learning anatomy & physiology!
Exactly one of the best lecture i have ever seen on joints
Protect this man at all cost
Haha, this comment made me laugh. I’ll try to stay safe!
Just saw this video. I am 72 year old physician and I learned my anatomy in 1970! It’s absolutely amazing how things become simple with a beautifully created video demonstration.thanks 👍
This guy is amazing. I want to cry I've watched so many videos and none are even close to as good as this. Everyone but you should quit at this.
This is the best, most interesting and most easiest to understand video I have ever watched on the shoulder.
Same here
I love how calm and slow he talks. It makes all these concepts feel so much less daunting. You summed up my experience and that of my fellow classmates as well😢
What an amazing teacher you are!! I've returned to School at 65 years old and I can say this is the best video I've ever seen. Thank you for the great explanation!

I’m a massage therapist and love your presentation on the shoulder. Thank you 🙏🏻
Explained so clearly and easier to understand!
As always, a simply outstanding video. I have been practicing medicine for a long time, but I always learn a great deal when I watch these videos. Thanks very much for your excellent work!
This gotta be the best video on shoulder joint! Thanks a lot

I'm in PT school right now and he goes in such great detail that my professor does
Saved me before my DR session today.

This is fantastic. I adore how you present and explain on point and very simple to understand and rememeber. Thank you for your help 💜🤍
You're welcome!

I’m a kinesiologist and this video was so well done!!! Thank you🥰

The Best descriptive video that I have seen on the internet (hurt myself in 2020 just found this Feb2023) Brilliant
You have a talent for teaching anatomy and simplifying what other teachers/textbooks tend to overcomplicate! Thank you
