Why am I here? I don't even play cello. (I do play violin though) Still, love it! And your voice is so very relaxing to listen to. I don't mean to sound weird, I just *snorts* IDK, it's just, you know, you got a really nice voice. Lol, okay, I'm just gonna stop talking now, sooo, yeah. . . . - Ana P.S. Love your shirt, by the way!🙃
Just confess the truth...you are considering a change in 2021. And that means you will become one of us and forget all about violin! 💖💞💞💞💞💞💞😉 You are welcome!
Wonderful ideas as always!Do agree 100%about the scales+vibrato, the style related planing and the"bad-no practice "day advice!!!!Thank you and Feliz Año Nuevo!!
Hola Pablo!! Feliz 2021!!
I have students that will laugh themselves off their chair at the idea of practicing this much. BUT, I am sharing this on FB saying, "Look! This is how people practice when they are already good!" So ... what can you take from this and apply to YOUR practice to make it stronger? Wonderful tips and thought process, for me too... I think we always can use a refresher on #practice #inspiration
Thanks! Yes indeed, a reminder is always good! Puf when I was a student I used to practice for 6-7 a day, no excuses! as you know there are no secrets to playing an instrument 🎻 Happy new year!
@@torterrakart7249 hi! No, definitely not, all I have today is because I practiced so hard for so many years! I was practicing 6-7 h from age 12 till 26 it was a time of very intense training! And I am glad I did it, I had a big goal to fuel my motivation, And even now I very often practice 5-6 h during the season, but it is important as a student to put in the heavy work. I was thinking back then, best case scenario, I achieve my goal, worst case then no regrets because I gave my best. Nothing worse than to live with the “ what if”
@@pabloferrandez So, in your opinion, those 2/3 hours make the different. Interesting to know, thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! Nonetheless I guess one can make a good work with 4h daily. Thanks again and happy new year to you and your family!
@@pabloferrandez Hi! Just a question, how did you manage to do that? I often come home from school/rehearsals at a time where it wouldn't be possible to still practice six hours (without breaking the laws of time). I'm always looking for ways to be able to practice more and six to seven hours a day would be a dream ! Thank you!
Quería agregar que hablo español solo lo puse en ingles para incluirme en los otros comentarios jajajaja Saludos mañana me levanto, sordina al puente y a practicar!
This is really helpful! Does anyone here keep a practice journal? I’m thinking of starting one this year so I can track what I practice when I practice and hopefully keep with it...I like this idea as a starting point for setting up the journal...thank you!
@@eljoagenbach1400 I'm going to try it...I just really hope I can stick with it because I really want to make practicing more of a habit rather than an afterthought...I tend to play something, realize how difficult it is and then say "I need to practice". I would rather like to say, "I need to add this to my practice routine." Fingers crossed! 🤞🤞🤞
I've been playing for 3 years this month and for 2 months I've been practicing 2,5 h a day splitted in two sessions. The first one technical 1,5h scales, bowing etc. and then usually in the evening one hour for playing with instrumentals or recordings or just practicing pieces.
Kinda similar to my routine! I start with scales, then Feuillard, Mooney and Schroeder studies, then répertoire after. But im new and just doing Suzuki 3 and the Suite 1 minuet tho xD
I just realized the *TwoSets* 40hrs everyday shirt 😆
Yes!! Represent!!
@@SandieCanes i try to represent, practicing as much as I can but i feel more like 40hrs a day of Study 📚 and work 😅
New year's resolution: extend practice session from 40hrs per day to 40hrs per hour 😅

💞😍 besides handsome.
💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
I literally came here just to say this!
Should we plan a practice challenge together ? It is much easier to practice with someone... stay tune, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
yes , make a video rutine challenge with shitmusic on screen and stuff.
Hell yeah
I would love that, yes.
Absolutely!;)
Bring it on🎉🎉🎻🎻
First thing I saw was the twoset shirt
So bizarre, seeing that T-shirt half a world away.
I just realised I watched half the video without listening because I was staring at this wonderful cello
Meanwhile there's me who struggles to even pick up my instrument before supper
Haha the twoset merch, I love it!
They need a practise shirt in multiple languages!

As a part of scaled practising day, I would recommend to add 1 hour for listening the music with scores
Thank you so much for the motivation!! I'm glad that I've found your video. It'll help me so much in 2021. Have a good year!

crack!
Open practice bach pogs? 😂
Haría todo eso si mi cello no me cortara los dedos cada vez que lo toco 🙃
te corta porque no estudias todos los días.... despues de tocar puedes usar crema para hidratar tud dedos y así no se rompen los callos...
