A few months ago Hi Rez told a member of the AoC that Cassie is what they balance damage champs around. They clearly don't play this game if they think she's the definition of balanced
Can someone explain why Cassie’s winrate never goes above 50%, but every video I see, someone is crying about how OP she is? Is she just really annoying? Or is her winrate not accurate because people pick her w/o having mastered leading their target?
Too bad Cassie sucks on console though. Like if you have good aim then she is OkAy, but she usually gets completely outperformed by any hitscan champ. Hitscan too op on console...
I think ying also deserves a spot up there SPECIALY over seris. The amount of split healing that she can do is insane. With the recent buffs her damage is on par with the non dmg supports and her ultimate is one of the best in the game. She can also mitigate a LOT of damamge abd block some abilities with her illusions with no consequence because of spring bloom. NOTE: next patch shes gettig an amazing quality of life buff which is no mid air innacuracy for life exchange which doesnt sound like much but i can tell you that it is annoying missing a jump heal as ying that you could have hit as damba. ALSO ying takes quite a lot of practice and map knowledge yo function well and some people in ranked just dont have the experience yet. However, when a ying is good she outputs crazy heals.
@@0xVENx0 Not really true. Grohk isnt comparable with ying anymore. Ying can be an actually good champs who Just heals (If you dont want the enemy to buy resilience). Grohk is a Bad healer in Higher Ranks and better as a DMG
@@oles9196 Spot on^^ Ying is currently one of the best healers: you take her in comps where you want healing over dmg amp (so no jenos or Furia) and don't lack cc (which tends to not be the case as you run Inara in those sustain comps) as she has the highest heal output from all healers atm

For Console (I play on Xbox One) I'd say the BEST of each class is: Damage: Tyra. She has hitscan which is a distinct advantage on console. She also has a lot more utility than Vivian or Viktor in her ability to control the point without using an ult and reveal others without having a sensor mine. The dmg buff she gives can be deadly when coordinated correctly and she straight up counters pesky Skye's invisibility. Her ult can also melt through most health bars in seconds. Flank: Talus. He also has hitscan but can't be easily countered by buying an item like Skye. He can basically threaten from any range and also has an escape whenever he needs it. Coupled with dmg buffs from Jenos or Tyra or Torv or anywhere, he can easily wipe an opposing team out 1 by 1 in a matter for seconds. His Ult can aslo seriously disorientate whole teams when they have just left spawn. Either they all arrive late or with 1 less player. Support: Jenos. Again hitscan is the trend for being good on console. Jenos' heals are fairly consistent and easy to use. He can also be healing 3 of his team mates WHILE still outputting consistent damage. His void grip can stop a tank from forcing overtime and can be used to hold an attacker while he takes cover or gets help from his team. The damage buff from his Luminary doesn't really need a big explanation. His Ult can also be an easy triple if used correctly. Jenos is also the easiest support to use AS a support when there are no tanks on your team. Frontline: Khan. Does consistent dmg from most ranges. Has probably the second most versatile shield (Term's is probably better). A self heal that makes him IMMUNE to most dmg Including Skye ult, Dragon Fist and Detonate as well as CC.... And lastly an ult that can kill an Ulting Ash as well as most other Frontlines once you have worked out how to use it properly. I think those characters are pretty good on console because they tick all the boxes for console Paladins.
I love your vids but i disagree on the last supp and i think that ying is a way better supp then seris i might only be a diamond 2 player but as ying player i do think that she is way better than seris in split heals and damage since her damage drop off buff and focusing lens even if usually you use life exchange
I play ying a log in ranked even though I'm on console. She can heal a lot with life exchange and her ult across the map for all allies is very useful. And you can play ying as a hybrid with focusing lense and do crazy amounts of damage.
Lol, IO is incredible. Not only her heal is amazing, she can push and cap with Luna, tank with Luna, heal with her, survive with her, stun... Oh, have I mentioned that her attack is easy to hit 450 dmg with no falloff? Also, she can reset CD on roll back. The is just amazing, I can't wait for her to go in rankeds
6.30 her ultimate was being affected by resilience for a long time. The change is that its now affected by cc immunity( like the lex legendary that gave u cc immunity during slide) Great Video👍 Adding smthing:13:30 makoas hook itself isnt affected by resilience but it still makes sense to go for it, bcs the stun after the hook is pretty annoying. The stun is not long but if u r low as e.g. andro u have better chances at still getting away than without resilience
For me : Dmg : bomb king / shalin (depend on the player and loadout) Flankers: Evie / andro / moji (I'm not joking about moji ..if u really know how to play moji ..u can do a lot with him ) Tanks : I didn't try atlas and other champs because I have more then 5 months didn't play paladins but for me the best tanks are makoa / Khan And supports are Ying and damba
Andro has been nerfed to death and is bad now. Moji is a joke champ. If she doesn't get close to you she can't do damage. The best dps champs in paladins all poke in and out of cover. Moji can't poke at all. Sha Lin is literally a worse version of Cassie.

I’ll be including substitute best for each class, since the best champions for each class will sometimes/always be banned. Note: I’m a support main. Tank: Makoa Tank/Support: Torvold Sub: Khan/Barik/Atlas/Inara/Ash ( Some tanks are great, but not all are the good. Terminus has potential if fixed. ) Damage: Cassie Sub: Bomb King/Strix/Lian/Willo ( To be honest, You can work out any dps champions when used in right hands. ) Support: Jenos Sub: Damba/Ying ( Any support is fine except ghrok or pip. I’m not including seris since its hard to output some utility onto the fight after caut 3. And it’s hard to multi heal your allies; unless they are group up, which is impossible since flank class exist. Unlike damba which has ult that can basically turn the direction of the fight in your favor and a speed boost card which you can input into his right click. and Ying’s ult which is extremely fast to charge w/ morale boost. Yes, Seris has an ult that can grab champions into it, but it can be countered by correct positioned shields. ) Flank: Evie Sub: Maeve/Lex/Andro/Moji ( Andro can be a game changer when a right person is playing him, but it also goes for other flanks. ) That’s my opinion, please don’t attack me if I offended you... ; - ; Edit: Willo on subtitute best.
@@kswitdaari5083 I don't think her healing output with Solar Blessing is as consistent as Grover's or 'Damba's (especially the former), and in the case of 'Damba it's also that she really lacks that versatility he has.
Every character can be the best of that class with the right loadout and playstyle, so instead of looking to which character is better, look for pro loadouts or even find out what you like.
Dmg: lian is a nobrainer, auto aim be like Tank: if you know how to stay alive, khan can get 0 deaths ez Healer: jenos with the buff Flank: meave is annoying as hell, so her i guess
For damage it would be vivan or tieberius for flank it would be koga or zhin and for frontline/tank it would be raum and for healing maldamba or grover
Caut with Seris is a really big deal in late game, I feel useless at the end, but the mobility is a strong point, with speed and invulnerability is really useful
I got extra champions without doing anything.... I ended up maining one of the extra champions (strix) but (because of technical issues with my ns account) I have just decided I want to make a new account. Do I get strix again?

opinions on terminus ? i just started playing ranked an i dont own everyone but i wana buy some tanks as much as id like to buy Khan or Atlas they are banned so much i dont even imagine ill play them in ranked,
@@tedos6197 I do own Barik already an i often play him when im point in tank role, ash does seem reliable tho, is terminus often just not useful? i see them a decent bit since when i play ranked its often 4 tank bans lol
Term is good, not great as an on the point tank because his damage has (obviously) not much range so you have too be continually aggressive, the power siphon is really awesome and he has some great loadout cards
@@SoulMCYT Ash can be an amazing tank with the right loadouts and on the rights maps she can switch form being a point tank to a flank one if your team is working with you ash can be pretty good plus shes 80 % avaiable.
Viktor is the best damage champion because he is able to play a tank role with cardio along with blast shields and haven Buck is the best flank champion due to the fact you can run level 5 momentum and level 4 deep breath and play as a Frontline with high mobility
he only needs his old spit dmg when he dealt 1000 dmg idk why hi rez nerfed it to 900 it was the most random and retarded thing they've ever done... I mean drogoz 1000 dmg fire spit was there when he was added for the first time in the game until now.. #Bringbackoldfirespit
@@andythedrummer9642 So when you get into champion selection in ranked the first thing that happens is that first pick ov every team banns 3(maybe 2 havent played in a few months) champions That means that those champions are locked and can't be picked by either of the teams. For example if I am first pick and I will play bomb king I will probably ban drogoz cause he counters me greatly so that the enemy team can't pick him.
man i fell in love with lex when he had the fire rate of the current death hastens...but i cant stand the new death hastens card! (the old one was outdated aswell and change was needed, but not like this) if your gonna revert a lex change give him his 450 base damage back or give him his mobility back. i still don't understand how they nerfed lex's old 450 damage per shot was too much but the year and a half of burst meta was all fine and dandy. pssh, fuck death hastens XD

Nixus 37 i still think she needs a illusion heal buff....from 420 to 450 and from every 1.6 sec to evey 1.2/1 sec

@@kswitdaari5083 I don't think her healing output with Solar Blessing is as consistent as Grover's or 'Damba's (especially the former), and in the case of 'Damba it's also that she really lacks that versatility he has.

For damage it would be vivan or tieberius for flank it would be koga or zhin and for frontline/tank it would be raum and for healing maldamba or grover
Caut with Seris is a really big deal in late game, I feel useless at the end, but the mobility is a strong point, with speed and invulnerability is really useful
I hate when I see a binary jenos in my ranked games and try’s to do damages but does 15 times
Idk but Max reveal vivian makes it a pain for damage dealers and flanks. I personally enjoy that playstyle with suspect everyone card.

How tf do I join ranked. I literally am lvl 16 and have 12 champions
I got extra champions without doing anything.... I ended up maining one of the extra champions (strix) but (because of technical issues with my ns account) I have just decided I want to make a new account. Do I get strix again?

opinions on terminus ? i just started playing ranked an i dont own everyone but i wana buy some tanks as much as id like to buy Khan or Atlas they are banned so much i dont even imagine ill play them in ranked,
@@tedos6197 I do own Barik already an i often play him when im point in tank role, ash does seem reliable tho, is terminus often just not useful? i see them a decent bit since when i play ranked its often 4 tank bans lol
Term is good, not great as an on the point tank because his damage has (obviously) not much range so you have too be continually aggressive, the power siphon is really awesome and he has some great loadout cards
@@SoulMCYT Ash can be an amazing tank with the right loadouts and on the rights maps she can switch form being a point tank to a flank one if your team is working with you ash can be pretty good plus shes 80 % avaiable.
Terminus is awesome, but he does get banned from time to time.

R aum is one of the best agro/point tank if you got a good enforcer build
Viktor is the best damage champion because he is able to play a tank role with cardio along with blast shields and haven
Buck is the best flank champion due to the fact you can run level 5 momentum and level 4 deep breath and play as a Frontline with high mobility

For frontline I’d say raum cause he got 500 round mini gun and 5000 health and can heal himself by adding 3000 health

So no andro and Cursed cylinder, all u need is you need to know to aim. The u can kill a dmg in 3 shots and a punch.

You shouldve added zhin. I mean, not THE BEST flank, but his survive ability, damage output and movement, he could be one of the main pushing forces
Hes also very easy to play due to his forgiving kit, which makes him pretty strong in the low-medium tier.

@@andythedrummer9642 So when you get into champion selection in ranked the first thing that happens is that first pick ov every team banns 3(maybe 2 havent played in a few months) champions
That means that those champions are locked and can't be picked by either of the teams.
For example if I am first pick and I will play bomb king I will probably ban drogoz cause he counters me greatly so that the enemy team can't pick him.

man i fell in love with lex when he had the fire rate of the current death hastens...but i cant stand the new death hastens card! (the old one was outdated aswell and change was needed, but not like this) if your gonna revert a lex change give him his 450 base damage back or give him his mobility back. i still don't understand how they nerfed lex's old 450 damage per shot was too much but the year and a half of burst meta was all fine and dandy. pssh, fuck death hastens XD
