Idea: If your friend's base has trapdoors as some sort of pot-decoration, use a redstone timer to occasionally flip the trapdoors. Confusing, non-destructive, funny

My sister did the last one, and then got used to running backwards. Watching people's reactions when she crouched was great!
The snow prank can now work in all editions in the new 1.17 update, with powdered snow. First, with a bucket, collect powdered snow from a snowy biome. Make sure you have leather boots so you don’t sink in. Second, make a hole as big and deep as you want and fill it entirely or only the top of it with powdered snow. When your friend walks out of their house, they’ll continue sinking into the snow unless they have leather boots, and even better, if they don’t have a piece of leather armor, they’ll suffer hypothermia and can’t get back up if you fill it entirely.

52. I like to call this one chest with a hole. Take a chest, place it down in front of them saying all of their diamonds for something really rare or something you can’t gain in survival like the barrier block, place a hopper that leads to your base, make a contraption that senses when their diamonds (or other rare objects) pass through, they get the easiest block to find (aka dirt)
