LOL, Reggie you f*ck, I love you. You made laugh so hard on the two vids I have seen, " couldn't score in a brothel, Treason Day LOL. Happy blessings from an arrogant American.
The average watch time of a video is around 4 minutes…. The fact you’ve seen it 3 times puts you as an outlier so apologies for that. But I never actually ask verbally, that’s a promise I make. It’s just a visual clue in the hope someone sees it as they randomly click through the video. You will be missed good sir.
Simply stunning... and you have to consider the $15 price point. Two things: I said it was made by four people but I've also read its made by three people so apologies for that. And yes, it's 254 online players, not 256 as I state!
Hey! I was wondering when you were going to get around to this one! I’ve been playing this like crazy all week. It takes me back to the Bad Company 2 days! What a blast! It really shows how out of touch these millionaire CEO’s are with what is fun. I’ve noticed first person shooters have been trending towards marketing this power fantasy where you can have the best guns with the best gadgets but it just means everyone ends up playing the same way because there’s a “best way to do it. Turns out some limitations are actually needed to make an engaging game loop. Instead of trying to chase trends and gimmicks maybe DICE needs to look at what actually made their game fun in the first place.
Haha, my good American friends give a lot of banter around July 4th. They always wonder if the Brits get weirded out by July 4th and I say that most Brits probably think of Independence Day as starring Aliens and Will Smith!
Man, the game is great, and I love how it's finally gotten rid of the sense of elitism I've seen so many times amongst FPS players. Battlebit is a great game, but without the failure of games like MW2 and BF2042 it would have never been successful. If AAA devs would still be doing their job correctly, this game would have likely ended up as a niche FPS thanks to the FPS community's braindead attitudes towards games that look like this. Games like Battlebit have always been around, and many, very advanced and interesting games have been made by small groups with low poly artstyles. People immediately assuming games with less graphical fidelity are bad are what have let AAA devs abuse us for so long now. Seeing this much attention makes me happy but also mad in a way, since it took us almost 10 years to start judging games off of ACTUAL gameplay, and it took AAA games to fuck themselves for people to realize that the game they're playing just has to have good gameplay for them to enjoy it.
Great comment lad, and a VERY good point about how the failure of BF and COD had opened the door for this. I’ll be honest, the best games I’ve played this year and nearly all Indie. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
If the deaf gamers still prefer graphics over gameplay then they deserve playing MW2022 and BF2042 and waste their money over some "OOOHHH SHINY SKIN!!! I'M PROOOO!!!! AUAUAUAUUGGTGG!!!!!" It's honestly sad to see bunch of gamers getting brainwashed by the AAA Studios with that sorts of mindset, imagine buying games that looks so damn good ( realistic even ), but then the gameplay is like the biggest garbage ever. You spent $60 over a game you only play for about 20 hours but you're forced to play longer than that to justify your $60, and this also lead you to more mentally exhausted due to the horrible gameplay which is going to hurt yourself in a long run. I'm praying for battlebit's success since it's first playtest, I want this game to be a huge success in a long run to show these greedy company, what people want from a game.
Great review! I agree 100%. Game is awesome and i'm a big BF fan that was a little bit let down by 2042 although i had some fun in it. I'd love devs to work on the sounds as you mentioned.
Thank you lad, appreciate the comment. And yes, the sound isn’t “bad” per se, but it just doesn’t quite match the chaos on screen if you ask me. A minor gripe to a wonderful game.
I heard about how well this game was being received but not given it a go yet. That maybe because my reactions can be slower than a sloth at a triathlon perhaps. Although I’ve got Hell Let Loose, which has some nice aspects to it. Gotta love those American cousins yelling hoora & USA, especially if it treason day! 😂😂 🎉
Hahaha, I love my American friends. I hear so much about Hell Let Loose, maybe I’ll grab it if it’s cheap on the Steam Sales. As for BattleBit, I will say you will die a LOT if you’re anything like me. But I still had plenty of fun which I think is forgotten about in a Lori f gaming these days where it can feel like a chore.
@@cockneygamer yep I was always one of the cod players with 1 kill and 20 deaths lol, haven’t played HLL this yeah & it’s had a few updates +adding Brits. But I like the strategy, roles in matches & loved map. But matches were long - which overall I liked but many didn’t but I think they introduced some a few shorter games modes? If you need a wingman (bullet magnet) let me know.
I'm getting a total burn out of my only game - FFXIV after 10 years (finally) And looking to play a new game on steam and add friends. This game looks amazing and as a 80s kid, this game looks around my alley Also learned the GMs are out to get players and ban them for misappropriate conduct like cussing and stuff.
Honestly mate, for $15 you truly can’t go wrong. It’s quite unforgiving at the beginning… you’ll be dying a lot. But there is some wonderful charm around it that keeps you going back for more. When you see 254 players all going for it at once it’s truly brilliant.
Its a great game, the gunplay is freaking amazing and reminds me of Rainbow 6 Siege before they reworked the recoil pattern. I got a pretty beefy PC and would much rather play Battlebit over Warzone or BF2042
I'm rocking hardware better than 99% of people. The fact I can run this at a butter 240hz 5120x1440 gsync is unreal. The only thing poor is your mindset.
LOL, Reggie you f*ck, I love you. You made laugh so hard on the two vids I have seen, " couldn't score in a brothel, Treason Day LOL. Happy blessings from an arrogant American.
I love you too my American cousin!
3 times you ask us to subscribe… We get it and we won’t 👍

Battlebit just announced a sound rework today
Oh my, that’s fantastic lad! Thank you for sharing… it’s honestly about the only gripe I have (and even then it’s not really major).
Where did they announce it?
Can't find it anywhere
I think a sound rework is in the budget considering they made 27 million in 2 weeks😂
Simply stunning... and you have to consider the $15 price point.

"Of course you can sweetheart" 🤣🤣
Already bought 2 copies for friends. Refreshing game and I'm glad these people are not greedy.
Lucky friends to have you!
Came for the review stayed for the vernacular 10/10.

Well said lad, absolutely spot on. Battlefield and COD were great back in the day and you nailed why it’s changed.
Hahaha loved the narration bruv. Awesome!
Thank you mate, appreciate the comment!
The Treason Day comment made me laugh! That was awesome!🤣
Perhaps the British could start to celebrate July 3rd as "Dependence Day"

That was one hell of a review! Well done, Cockney Gamer!
Thank you mate, appreciate it!
Stellar review, just subbed
Very kind of you lad, welcome to the gang and appreciate your comment. Cheers!

Which is good, more potential player base that are coming from Low Spec Gamers group.
