What Are Tactical Nuclear Weapons, and How Might Russia Deploy Them on the Battlefield?
Let’s explore how Russia might potentially deploy these weapons during the ongoing conflict.
This map highlights the range of the ATACMS missile, a long-range precision weapon.
The presence of these missiles in Ukrainian hands poses a significant threat to the Russian military, as they make airfields, bunkers, and ammunition storage facilities vulnerable to attack.
In response to this escalation, Russia has issued threats to use tactical nuclear weapons in areas where HIMARS and ATACMS missiles are stationed.

This video completely misses the point. The ATACMs are US military provided, US intelligence targeted, and US satellite guided. So to any rational observer, it is the United States (a nuclear power) directly attacking Russia (another nuclear power), not Ukraine. Given the ATACMs are nuclear capable, there is no way for Russia to know if they are carrying a conventional payload or a nuclear sneak attack launched from "Ukraine", therefore they said they will respond by targeting the truly responsible parties (NATO bases, US, and UK), not the idiot who pushed the button in Ukraine. The US is the one instigating, which is even more absurd when you consider no one in America knows who in the US government is in control (dementia Biden or McConnell, i don't think so)

The Russians aren't going to nuke Ukraine. That's just silly. There are no tactical requirements in Ukraine that can't be dealt with using conventional weapons. Brussels, London, and Washington DC however should be wary.

Russia has updated its military doctrine specifically to untie its hands and be ready to launch a nuclear strike when needed. What seems impossible to you personally may be perfectly possible for the Russian military. You think differently. Tactical nuclear warheads are just the beginning and may be a viable option for the Russian military.
Russians should first try getting their nukes off the ground without them detonating immediately.

It depends on the application. There are nuclear "bunker buster" warheads that penetrate the ground before detonating. Nuclear gravity bombs may be set to detonate at or near ground level if your goal is to create fallout. Your blanket statement is incorrect.

Result is known today.

Starting up the nuclear escalation ladder, nuclear strikes at sea are a pretty good idea because you cant blow a crater in the water, hence its a good demonstration place to start a nuclear war-a "natural firebreak" to show intention without full nuclear commitment. .
But where you missed the mark was was talking about radioactive "dust"(fallout ) from a sea strike. There is little dust at sea to become radioactive.
The definitive work on the subject is "On Thermonuclear War" by Herman Kahn. . (AKA DR Strangelove) Its old but very informative .

He got radiation burns and still suffers from chronic skin cancers. We joke he is nuclear powered. 😂

A video explaining the laundry list of punitive actions imposed on Russia by the world, economically and militarily, if they use tactical nukes would be very informative. Here's the problem, if Ukraine starts attacking deep into Russian territory, Russia will have to respond somehow, and then nuclear war will become a matter of time, not a possibility.
