2-Stage Rocket TestFlight #1 (Failed Staging)

First flight of my first 2-stage rocket design. It's a 3" to 3" diameter rocket, made with hand rolled Carbon Fiber tubes, fiberglass fins, and fiberglass nosecones/couplers. It weighs 20 pounds and uses an Aerotech DMS L1000 booster motor to an Aerotech RMS K805 upper stage.

spin stabilizing it by rotating the wings to prevent the tilt wouldnt be a bad idea.
