The ability of this judge to switch in and out, slam the hammer down and be cordial the next second is just amazing. He really treats every single person as ... you know ... a separate person, completely disconnected from the previous case. Utmost respect for this man.

I loved his interaction with the recovering alcoholic. It is so cool to see his compassion and understanding. I picked up 6 felonies when I was 19 due to my addiction, and thanks to the Justice system, I was forced to get sober and face my demons. The judge and my probation officer saved my life. Now, I get to work as a mental health technician with people who are right where I was as a teenager.
He lifts her up and gives her respect and confidence- she's done the right thing: found herself in court , owned her mess up and used the system for what it's meant to be used for- to help her get straight. Her probation officer is lovely too. Good luck lady ❤
My impression of him is that he doesn’t just want to send people to jail and/or slap them with a bunch of felony convictions. If there is a viable alternative to jail, he’d rather go that route. However, when people are given chance after chance after chance to correct their behavior and they simply won’t comply, he won’t hesitate to sentence them to jail.

HUGE 🎉🎉 congratulations to the woman who got sober. I'm in A.A. and sober also. I got my life together. I was a gallon of vodka a day drinker for 6 months at the end of 2022 yes its possible. I almost died 5 times in the hospital. I thank God everyday for seeing something in me worthy of life even though I blatantly disregarded that gift. I'm happy working and living a great positive life. Alcohol is the only drug that kills you on withdrawal. It easily accessible everywhere and glorified in movies t.v. etc.. no excuses from me. But its sad it so easy to become addicted to a horrible affliction.

I was told by a sov-cit that if I say I don't want to be held accountable for breaking the law then nobody can make me. Plus I part my hair on the left side and that makes placing me in handcuffs a violation of,"Upsy Daisy," statute," one after 909".
How many people are there recieving disability benefits? In the UK there used to be a higher level than there currently are. But they have all been sent to a panel of doctors. Since disability numbers have decided massively. Many have also been pridoned due to them not actually being disabled. I think the states need yo do some checking up on these individuals especially the frauditors.

This judge is a magic man, I'm hooked, he gives me pure joy, and hope for the people who are down on their luck so to speak. I lost my twin to alcoholism, I will never stop wishing she were still here. The judge gives hope and impetus to hold these people accountable but with a huge helping of ways to cope. Be honest with the court, be courteous, and things can and will work out better for you in the end. In other words, don't curse the judge, don't lie, don't skip any payments you are ordered to make, and especially don't skip out on any hearings. It's amazing how that works better for you.

I lost my twin to alcoholism, I will never stop wishing she were still here. The judge gives hope and impetus to hold these people accountable but with a huge helping of ways to cope. Very funny too :)...

So I think I’ve heard the “I touched a drug and that made me test positive” line in a comedy show or movie. Never in my life did I think I would ever hear that excuse in real life

I misted up a bit when Judge Simpson was talking to the Lady in recovery. You can really tell that he is happy for her

Judge Simpson is such a character! I agree he needs his own show. Especially with the cast of characters he has in his courtroom. He is a good example of how being respectful and reasonable will get you the best results.

Be honest with the court, be courteous, and things can and will work out better for you in the end.
In other words, don't curse the judge, don't lie, don't skip any payments you are ordered to make, and especially don't skip out on any hearings.
It's amazing how that works better for you.
