I agree. I have short hair and it works great . When I had hair longer than yours during the pandemic, it didn't work well for me. Definitely an ideal product to hold and style shorter length hair.
Really considering cutting my hair a bit shorter to experiment. You at like 3" for hair length?
@@ThePomp It was about that short. Now it's longer like fringe just about my eyes. I use Salon Guy Sea Salt spray and it really good. But I go through bottles very fast .
@@pauldack5129 for short hair the best is hanz fuko claymation
Good point about not using it on a daily basis. Please keep bringing up this point for future products as well.
Mr. J yezzir
Why not?
I'm so jealous of your hair. My god
Mainly genetics man. Got lucky
Nah you don’t need genetics just trust you hot this I love everyone too🤗🥳😊❤️💙💜❤️💜❤️💙💜💚💚💛💗💛☮️💔🤍💙
Great video, very informative. Have fun with Sekiro man! I just got the Platinum trophy and now starting my 5th playthrough. Such an amazing game.
Bro I been so prideful not to watch any gameplays or read about any tips. I been stuck on the Butterfly Lady for the longest time because I rang the Demon Bell.
@@HarrisonTruong Ouch, demon bell definitely makes things rough. Makes the sense of accomplishment even greater when you finally overcome the challenge. 😁
@@Razielmon Each day, I'm getting closer to overcoming this old hag
Man I love this product so much but it smells kinda weird. My hair is very straight and heavy, and this stuff holds very well for me
Interesting because I love the smell. One of the best smelling clays ive tried. Smells kinda like cocoa butter to me.
@@TrueNorth1217 I got a new one recently and it smells so much better. I had my old one for almost 2 years so I guess over time it starts smelling funky.
Does anyone know how this compares to Crew Fiber? I'm trying to find something that keeps its hold through sweat/exercise and Crew Fiber seems to dissolve and fall flat after sweating. Any help would be super appreciated. Thanks!
Loved that the review included end of day results, have you tried layrite super hold, if so how does that compare? Grew my hair out during lockdown, it's got a similar thickness but straight and shorter, looking for a good product to style a quiff/ messy slicked back undercut. Would appreciate any suggestions, thanks :)
Unfortunately I haven't tried that Super Hold yet. Most clays do the trick for me with a messy style. You try the Trade Union Texture Clay? Probably one of my favorites right now.
@@ThePompas of now tho, ur fav clay?
Hello, please tell me. I have hair 16cm long, light, thin. What do you think is the best styling for long hair, LAYRITE NATURAL MATTE CREAM or LAYRITE CEMENT HAIR CLAY?
We Americans don't do the metric system
@@ThePomp imperialist
The Cement. Matte Cream sucks.
Hair care routine if you have one?
What do you get on the sides when getting a haircut?
Ask the barber for a taper my good man
Second that taper comment. I personally don't like the skin fade when my hair is longer. Looks disconnected, so I ask for a 2 fade. My barber doesnt say much but homie understands a clean look.
Get a low taper fade starting from a size 1/2 and fade it to a size 3
Cool!
my men so what clay you suggest
Depends on what you want. They're somewhat the same in terms of hold, but the small differences in scent, consistency, texture, etc is mainly for preference.
What pomade should I use if I have soft wavy hair?
Alex what style u going for
@@HarrisonTruong Not to slicked back. I want something that puts my waves at an advantage. Water based.
Alex
I use blind barber 90 proof.
A bit expensive, really nice smell.
Worked for me, switching to a cheaper one tho
Alex per your description, my hair is similar. try arcadian clay pomade. some others would be suavecito premium blend matte, arcadian mp, o’douds mp, teddy boy matte, and haircraft clay pomade.
@@angelcampos9700 i second blind barber. one of the best lab made products out there still
Ever tried han de fuko quicksand?
na not yet
LAKERS !!! 👍👍
Whats better, this or the Layrites natural matte?
I don't remember clearly, but I think that was more creamier and lighter?
completely different products. this stuff is tougher in consistency and stronger than the matte cream. all about what style you want. if you are the type to run your hands through your hair throughout the day, matte cream is the way to go. cement clay, while still reworkable, is more sturdy and hence less suited for those relaxed, deconstructed looks if that makes sense.
I like matte cream. The cement clay was too waxy. Not even matte.
I'm using the matte cream st the minute. I have thick, coarse, dry and very wavy hair. My barber put it in my hair one day and I thought, ppfff, this won't work but it did. And it kept working. I bought some thinking it would only be good for a week or two after cuts but I find it very good in general. My hair is about 7" long at the moment and gravity does a certain amount of the work but this stuff has low shine, gives good texture and medium hold for about 6 to 8 hrs in a mild climate spending about 3 of those hours outdoors. You mileage will vary
Hair looked better not styled tbh
Gotta be versatile
Does anyone have a recommendation for a product thats as 'heavy' as this clay (i have insanely thick/rebellious hair), but also waaay less of a scent or even scent-free... I find it hard to locate products that are scent-free with good hold like this cement clay
Hard to find scent-free ones, but the Jack Henry clay is a heavier mix, but not as strong of a hold. Scent isn't crazy strong but still there
