Water-Fight Feraligator and Hisuian Ghost Secondary type for Typhlosion, maybe?
I can't hate Bellossom. It played a pivotal role in my HeartGold playthrough as a special tank and also provided desperately-needed coverage against water-types. It excelled at these roles.

Fairy stab would honestly help it very little. In addition to riddling it with a steel weakness, there are few good dragon types in lower tiers. Sure, now it resists fighting, dark and is neutral to bug, but the lower tier mons of that typing were already screwed by the strength sap/quiver dance combination.
May I suggest doing "How great was Raichu," (Alolan Raichu included) mostly to cover gen 7 and gen 8. Since Ultra Moon/Sun meta fully developed already and gen 8 introducing dynamax and cutting down number of avaible pokemon and boosting the weaker ones, Raichu got a very good supporting role with fake out/nuzzle/brick break, and there is this new move "Raising Voltage" that do increased damage in electric terrain that makes Alolan Raichu into a strong sweeper. I believe it is a perfect time to give our poor Raichu/Alolan Raichu underdog the justice he deserved.

I got high in monotype ladder back in gen 8 with Bellossom on PS. Even won a couple of tournaments there with it! Strength sap+Quiver Dance and Raise defense berry after physical attack make it a quick tank on both end to set up and sweep mid to late game.
I don't even understand how a Mon could stay so bad getting so many amazing tools like Strength Sap, Quiver Dance, and Moonblast. It needs a better ability for sure (or a speed buff), Chlorophyll isn't doing enough off a base 50 speed, and... what even else is there? Maybe it just needs to be put down out back.
I use Bellossom in one of my current Sword-Shield teams. I setup Ingrain with several Quiver Dances before Baton Passing into a Stored Power sweeping Gardevoir.
if it's worth anything, bellosom got banned from tier shift aaa for being able to shut down almost anything with prankster sleep powder, quiver dance, and strength sap and just auto winning. a dub for flower friend!
Exeggutor became available as well in the Isle of Armor, so that's more competition for Bellossom, although Amoongus who was also added will be the mostly used Grass type along with Ferrothorn
To be fair, the competition is always tough between Grass types, because in Gen 1 and 2 most of them played exactly the same role, so it was all about the stats anyway... so, Venusaur...

Well the strength sap quiver dance combo does work in gen 8 ou lol. It beats ferrothorn and since zone is back now, corvi can be dealt with. It's a pretty fun set that can get some unexpected sweeps even in mid-high ladder
So changes Bellossom needs to have since it’s been around for so long Dancer ability seeing as its constantly dancing and gains quiver dance, petal dance etc Gains the fairy typing as gets a heap of fairy moves and would better differentiate it from its counterpart Vileplume Keep it going in the comments!
Even if Vileplume is an option, I still have a spot for Bellossom. That and Leaf Stone wasn't available soon enough in Johto, Sun Stone for Gloom it is.

They were probably mad at it for taking the sun stone before they could, so they hogged all the sunshine as revenge.

how interesting that Vileplume was outclassed by Venusaur since its debut, then with Bellossom coming out was similarly outclassed by another grass starter that shared its typing and better stats just like Vileplume

I had Bellossom in my 2nd OU Team in USUM! Teamed up with Ninetales's extended sun and Excadrill's support with Stealth Rock and Toxic. And some offensive threats helped as well.

The only time you’d want use Bellossom would be if you didn’t want a part-Poison typing added, and you’d want to use something new. As a result, with the cards aligned just right, I’ll be Bellossom the next time I play Pokémon Y.

I played doubles with an unusual Physical Chlorophyll Bellossom on the S&M Battle Tree with:
Item: Lum Berry/Big Root
Max EV's on Attack and Speed
And the moves were:
Leaf Blade
Strength Sap
Drain Punch
Sword Dance
I set Sun with Ninetales or Torkoal and then bellossom used Sword Dance to do very decent damage.

Well the strength sap quiver dance combo does work in gen 8 ou lol. It beats ferrothorn and since zone is back now, corvi can be dealt with. It's a pretty fun set that can get some unexpected sweeps even in mid-high ladder
So changes Bellossom needs to have since it’s been around for so long
Dancer ability seeing as its constantly dancing and gains quiver dance, petal dance etc
Gains the fairy typing as gets a heap of fairy moves and would better differentiate it from its counterpart Vileplume

Bellossom could make sense as a Fairy-Type, but that would make it extremely weak against the rest of its line.
Just like vileplume is venusaur's shadow

Even if Vileplume is an option, I still have a spot for Bellossom. That and Leaf Stone wasn't available soon enough in Johto, Sun Stone for Gloom it is.

Also I am surprised it was great too at Gen 3 NU. Sadly as predicted, it was destroyed by Powercreep. I thought it would be destroyed because of it's stats but no, it's because of it being harshly outclassed. Weird.

Gen 3 NU was dominated by things like Hitmonchan and Chimecho. Bellossom's stats were actually pretty solid in that environment, especially with sun.
They should bless her with the Dancer ability
