this guy making Gatling gun in like 20s, and my super dope wand constructed in 15 mins is like pew pew pew, barely making mana cost and doing crappy dmg... so much to learn. Amazing content lad
Bit late, but I'll suggest looking into spell wrapping. Relatively easy to get once you experiment with in it a bit, but I can't in good faith explain here. But it is a technique that goes into almost every good wand I make, personally. Just makes improving the wand so, so much easier, and opens the door to so many combos and optimizations.
Chainsaw with any multicast spell to wrap and turn your wand into a Gatling gun. Add in an add mana modifier to reduce the spell cost for infinite wand mana(depending on how expensive the modifiers are you might need more than one). Basically the gist of every fast firing wand is abusing chainsaw and spell wrapping.
@@schmeat7609 thanks, i realised this like 1 week ago that add mana is the essence and MUST HAVE for wand like this. More mana? more modifiers like heavy shot etc
@@kucharz100 thing with the wand in this video is the always cast though, always casts are free so if you get a good damage always cast you can easily built ridiculous shit without manacost being an issue, I found a wand with always cast deathcross, put homing (or the perk) a chainsaw and a double on it and you can infinitely spit out heat seeking deathcrosses. (explosion immunity is advised XD) with these always cast wands you have to pretty much rely on luck but if the stars align you get some crazy shit XD more consistent way is to go for any stuff that removes cast delay and/or recharge time and add mana and just put that on a wand with good stats outside of the obvious chainsaws and (luminous) drills and shit there's also some modifiers like glittering trail that reduce your cast delay or recharge time for free.
@@kucharz100 another way to get around mana costs from modifiers is to make your own trigger spell with the add trigger spell and put all of your damage/projectile modifiers in between the add trigger and projectile. Add mana is good for a regular setup but anything else with some crazy effects is gonna rely on custom triggers.
Amazing run! I actually just won my first mod-less run today (my first win was a run using a mod giving me glass cannon). Ironically, I beat this last run using a wand with magic bolt on it, which I managed to spell wrap. I attribute all my success in this game to you; your tips, tier lists and everything have made this game understandable and most importantly, enjoyable! Thank you and keep up the good work!
I got kinda super OP for kolmioleipä dude and then decided to go and kill the big noita looking dude left from the start past the tree, all I can say that my weird damaging mist setup didn't in fact one shot it, and when it doesn't do that the rest ain't that fun to deal with.
I love taking the Always Cast perk early on for my rapid-fire wand. I don't care if it's not optimal for longer runs, all the memories from the times you get something great make it worth it for me.
I haven't been able to play Noita from lack of having a PC, but bouncing bolt has always been my favorite starter spell because it has high synergy and power, also only minorly destructive.
It's one of the best spells in the game - later on. But I'd rather start with something else (only if I'm rushing, though, and don't spend time looking for wands.)
Wild, you mentioned at 4:34 that blood rain is stupidly rare and then in the HM at 21:50 it's right there. That's a crazy coincidence. I rarely come across them, too.
In 7 minutes you've found better wands and spells, whilst making a machine gun, than I have over the last several hours. I have only seen the chainsaw once while you buy a wand with like 8 of 'em!
I know this is an old video, but I have to say: when you suggested a balloon to contain gases, all I could think was. "is there any reason you couldn't just use a flask?!"
is there an easy way to do seeded runs? i have a seed i want to play of a previous game i played but when i google how to play a seeded run it looks very complex and i has you delete game files. What if i want to go back to random runs after playing a seeded run?? if i do follow the instructions to add magic.txt and delete files?
Why don't any experienced players wait to pick up the Holy Mountain heart? Perks can give you more max HP, then use the heart to get your HP to full. Also, it's good for testing wands in case they hurt you a bit, then you can start the level with full HP.
I leave the hearts/refreshes all the time, but in long runs. For runs like the one in this video, I already know before I start recording that I'm going for a fast run and I won't be going back up, etc. so I use collect everything as I go.
Oh, I know what "the air feels heavy means." It means there's no wands in the mines or the collapsed mines. Literally nowhere. (I mean, maybe I missed one somewhere, but I searched them both twice.) P.S. I know that's not what it really means, but it's what happened the first and only time I got this.

I’m so ass at wand building. I just don’t understand how to make a good wand and that makes it harder when deciding what to use my gold to buy

AC on the starting bomb wand is my new favorite trick since that teleportless speedrunning seed

ohy my God Fury, ... your runs are soooo different then all my noita experiences
9:04 you had electricity because of your lightning lol

they meant that its rare for blood to rain in the overworld, its a thing that happens but its insanely hard to find
9:07 what the hell is the turret doing inside the wall lol
It got scared
So this is what Fuller Auto means...

Didn't know blood rain is rare. Had in quite a few runs lately in early mountains.
at 9:05 you could've use dyour thunder to do the puzzle, no need to glitch through
I know this is an old video, but I have to say: when you suggested a balloon to contain gases, all I could think was. "is there any reason you couldn't just use a flask?!"
Noita is such a great game.
Gotta love unchallenged power
Interesting run! I always get an always-cast on a bomb wand if I see one.
On 9:07 could you get the wand using Lightning?
I could have, but I actually didn't really want to check. I was just "bla bla bla'ing" as I passed it, absent mindedly.
Wait, is that hour glass thing above all those shops? I didn't even know that was a thing! >_
10:30 Every bird ever
4:33 now you're questioning the noit-gods...not wise lol
7:30 see what you've done!?
You've come a long way! You and I uploaded our very first Noita videos forever ago!
Love the noita content your my favorite
Just today, made a similar wand but with less mana. Went my furthest down yet and poked a hornets nest (the dragoncave) and got mauled lol
Today I dropped from the mountain and there was an ukko shooting lightning straight at me
I recently got two runs in a row with early healthium flasks
lucky
Sorry im new to the game ; what is healthium flask ?

Look up Seed Changer mod by Evaisa on the workshop.

Maybe he just wasnt super tryharding, and just had fun.
Great video as always.
3:45 I had no idea you could do that. There's no way I would have discovered that on my own. What's even happening?
what the hell... why does it do that? It has only a chainsaw in it? can someone explain it?
He got an always cast perk for the wand, the chainsaw just makes it shoot faster
when the shotgun dudes have the water stain on them doesn't it just look like they got crazy blue hair?
Funny Minigun, good to see
a trippy run
its double k, for the lukki
Imagine not putting the dmg+ on the wand
9:00 turret bro you ok?
Usually I go to the doctor when my stream looks like that
hey uh, whats the seed?

wait blood rain and the other rains are rare!? I get them almost every run since I started!
Now put bloodlust on it.

I still don't see it, haha. Are you sure it wasn't just the gold veins? I *am* pretty tired, though, so maybe I just need sleep, xD
I feel like the egg trick shouldn't be used too much in videos because of how OP it is
I keep getting bad seeds where virtually no health increases spawn and its awful, praying to the rng gods that I get a good seed to make up for it
