I think the randomized order of devs names is out of respect for everyone involved. You always have to have in such a list make someone the 1st one. So they randomized it
If Catacomb Kids ever gets fully released, I feel like seasoned Noita players will be the only people who will manage to beat the game.
Apparently the deep dark should be coming out this fall so hey, here’s hoping

i regularly play out catacomb kids even though it just keeps looping. i cant wait to see more than the same 10 levels repeating over and over.
Imagine being a hisi chilling with your bros at the bottom of a level, and suddenly this weird ball of...SOMETHING comes out of nowhere and ends all of your buddies instantly and while the corpses of friend and foe alike are raining down upon you, it comes for you.
The randomized credits' order I'd interpret as them treating their output equally; it'd be an interesting solution to the question "who gets their name first?".
By the way you don't need Eggs to have a killing circle. You can get the Invisible Perk + Boomerang and it will behave the same way, it won't recognize you as the owner anymore when you're invisible and haunt everything around. It will come back once you break stealth.
This is a good alternative in case you don't find the relatively rare gravity pull item and it also protects you from average enemies since they won't see you. Also, Invisiblium Potions are easy to find. If you don't plan to do longer runs and just want to try the deadly homing fields, I recommend Invisible Potion / Invisible perk + Boomerang.
Sounds very boring on longer runs.
@@anteshell I'm sure if you limited yourself to 1 wand and 2 perks/1 pot +1 perk, that would make most long runs boring. Easy solution: play the game normally and use what you want 🤷♂

@@anteshell As someone who has played before, I assume you understand that using a build with 6-7 free wand/pot slots + perks (which you will likely use) is the type of build that allows versatility? Well, ignore how the game works and with zero other perks and I'm sure you'd get bored. 😅

There are a lot of ways you can lay waste to your foes in Noita, but throwing eggs that turn into enemy seeking-death-balls is probably the funniest way to do it.
Noita really is a special game to allow something like this to be possible.
I can imagine that the words "It'll be dangerous but fun" have preceded many self-caused deaths in Noita.
I did a similar thing with a homing rock with a couple of damage fields and circle of freezing. The rocks fly around at obscene speeds and kill anything that can die to physics objects which gives you trick kills (super OP if you get trick blood money perk) and anything that didn't die would get frozen and shredded by the damage field spells. It was my favorite run ever.

I...also just had a realization of something I'd never noticed before. Completing The Work uses The Salt, which is a cog wheel to start the machinery in the background.
The caldron room (I think) has somewhat similar looking pillars on either side of the tablet as that machine.
What if there's a way to complete the game 3 ways, one for each of the eggs in the beginning?
Technology- which is the standard completion... Kolmi was holding onto, and guarding the Salt. Kolmi didn't want anyone to turn on that machine. Why?
Could there also be a "Nature" and "Magic" completion? Is there anywhere else that has something framing a device with similar pillars to the machine and cauldron?
This is actually pretty good, it could also be followed through with just looking for that, lets see!
to add to this, there are three versions of kolmi, with mecha kolmi and pyramid kolmi
@@halfjack2758 That's true... So, Kolmisilmä is presumably the magical/alchemist version, which is guarding the key to the technological end.
Kolmisilmän koipi (pyramid) is... the Nature boss? It drops the 'Random' spells and wands, so, maybe it's guarding the secret to the "Magical/Alchemical" ending? This is something I find really interesting, since those random spells haven't seemed to get much attention from people.
Edit: Just looked up some stuff, looks like the foundation to ancient alchemy was finding "prima materia" a base material, something *chaotic* and formless. I think the cauldron needs those random spells to activate!
Kolmisilmän silmä (mecha) is guarding and drops Spatial Awareness, which is the knowledge needed for the sun quest. Which, I'd guess is the path to the "Nature" ending. I mean, there's not much more natural, or needed for nature than the sun and moon.
If we assume each kolmi is trying to prevent someone from obtaining the items/knowledge to achieve some sort of goal from the others, this could be an interesting path to investigate. Although, I'd be shocked if it's not already been looked into. Thinking it through, it would make a LOT of sense that each kolmi represents each of the three eggs in the myth, and that each respective group, Hisii, Nature, and Alchemists have all tried to make their own gods as powerful as possible while preventing the others from achieving their ultimate goal.

I had dumb run where i had explosion and fire immunity, duplicate projectiles and more, and for wands i had a fast freezing lightning wand, a super fireball fireball thrower bouncy wand, an explosive box wand and a wand that casts 7 nukes, i litterly went into kolmis barrier shot once and won, also tried to clear out lava lake but took to long but its definatly possible
You should probably be using every spell if you find, even if its' trash, since you'll need to refill that progress log too :p

Probably, but since I haven't really used Boomerang Spells perk very much on long runs, I haven't tested if the damage from it supersedes the damage reduction from Piercing.
I think it does. Even if it did a small bit of damage you would've outhealed it, and when you hit yourself with ambrosia on, it didn't say you blocked any damage
I had an idea for a silly run, but it requires cheatgui and responsible cheating.
Start with Never Skip Leg Day, Melee Immunity, Faster Movement and Faster Levitation, on a random seed. Toss all your wands out except your digging wand, and don’t use a single attack spell except to dig. You don’t pick up any perks (especially not telekinetic kick) except Dissolve Powders or perks to increase your movement. Every Holy Mountain, give yourself a Repelling Cape and Stainless Armor, every other mountain you also get another Never Skip Leg Day.
Basically, see how much progress you can make with only kicking and digging. If you reach NG+ or a parallel world, your “third eye” opens; you no longer cheat anything in and play normally, with all perks and spells acceptable. Thoughts, UA-cam community or Fury?
How does the trick at 35:00, that allowed you to cure yourself afterwards, work?
Very old but it seems that the weakening mage saves your damage multipliers at the time you're hit by the curse and, when it ends, resets it to that value. This is important because it's not adding and then removing an effect, it's restoring you to the state you were when you got hit.
When you hit yourself with projectile vulnerability, however, that applies a +25% damage taken, and then afterward it removes the +25% damage taken--- It doesn't reset the entity to whatever it was when it got hit, it just removes the modifier.
What this means is that if you time it correctly (Hence the 4 seconds), you can make the projectile/etc vulnerability wear off AFTER the weakening curse from the mage wears off.
To break down:
You have 1.0x damage taken. You're hit by the mage, and now have 1.2x. You hit yourself with vulnerability. You now have 1.2*1.25x damage taken (1.5x). The mage's debuff wears off first. You now have 1.0x damage taken again. Then the projectile/etc vulnerability you applied to yourself wears off. You now have 0.75x damage taken.
You can repeat this process to get negative damage taken values from the applicable damage type, meaning that that damage type will heal you

The randomizing of the order of the dev's names might just be a joke, like no one wanted to be at the bottom in the credits, so it had to be random.
on your first run after reset you always spawn with flask of water, so beginning is a bit sus :)
Yes, exactly, but it’s a set seed run ;) So, I set the seed with a mod and reset once right at the beginning in order to force it to generate with everything that would normally generate on that seed, for the purpose of showing off...everything that would normally be on that seed, including the starting flask, so people who play this seed know exactly what to expect. It is still the first run after deleting my save, though...which, doesn't even matter. I only said it to say, "nothing is unlocked."
I Assume the ??? on enemies is that you technically encountered them without actually encountering them

@@aquapotato.. you can have a max of 36 fishes based on how many unique orb of knowledge you have aquired in all your runs. He stated at the beginning of the video that it was his first run after deleting his entire save, so here should be 0 fishes. However there was 1, meaning that was not his first run. Not a big deal really, just wanted to specify this

Hey Fury, have you ever experienced the bug withe using a ps4 controller? I found a workaround, in case you have or know anyone who has.
Switching the L joystick to 8 way directional pad and binding controller joystick directions to it makes it work.

Yeah. You just need “something” to push the spells up. That something could be bonedust from Steve/Scott, snow from a fast wand with Freeze Charge, brass from the chaingun, etc.

boomerang perk + healing bolt + piercing modifier would still damage the player despite the minus dmg ? of the piercing modifier ? (assuming you don't multicast healing bolts which would multiply the damage bonuses I suppose)
Nah, it doesn't. I was just being too careful because I was having a lapse in memory and didn't want to doof-end my run/video.

Still a pretty clean save though.
It’s because I set the seed with a mod. The save was deleted right before recording this.
@@FuryForged oh right. I sort of just assume that the seed changer mod is bundled with vanilla but I checked my subscribed items on steam and yeah it's a separate thing.
