    I think it’s cute whenever they run back to their enclosures after eating

    They are SOOOO CUTE!! My crested gecko is so dumb when it comes to chasing bugs 😅 Even if a cricket is BRIGHT WHITE because its coated in calcium powder, he can't find it unless it's right in front of him.

    That tamer little one is the best I’ve ever seen one being handled!!! I’m excited to keep watching that one. I bet if they get separated it’s going to b a lot better. U gotta hurry and address the move, I’ve been waiting! And ya know, I think I’d jump every time the squeak no matter how many times I experienced it. Haha.

    Honestly, they might be the most underrated reptile, period.
    Do Tiki and Jabba ever stare eachother down? I had to divide my Tokay and Chahoua tanks because they'd just have death staring matches all day....

    my tokay is very calm surprisingly but i do think he was wild caught issue is he isnt eating, the first couple of days i tong fed him and he ate perfectly fine but after the first week he stopped eating i did have some crickets in there 5 to be exact and im pretty sure hes eaten most of them but the fact that hes not eating when i try to feed him is concerning me i figured it was stress since he was dark in color but now hes nice pale blue and will not even eat a juicy horn worm

    They are so adorable right up to that moment where they're not...then they are evil little bastards lol Mine was super loud...sounded like I was housing a demon when it called in the night. They are easily my favourite pet reptile I've owned...I wish I had spent more time trying to tame mine.

      He died or something??

    • @AaronHendu
      @AaronHendu 4 роки тому

      @@DARKMADNESS666 Nah, had a bit of an issue with having to move into a place I could no longer keep a ton of reptiles...any at all, actually...so I ended up having to let all my animals go...I just gave the enclosure and equipment along with the animals so I was sure they would continue to have a proper setup, but ultimately, after I found them all new homes, I have no idea how they have been doing. Hopefully well. I "rescued" that Tokay...it had gotten loose in a local Big Al's Aquarium, and it was loose for several months, probably surviving on escaped crickets here and there and lapping up the humidity around the aquariums. They finally were able to catch it because it was on the verge of death...so black in colour and skinny to the bone...you really could barely tell it was a tokay. I gave them $10 for it, brought it home and put it in a decently large 3x3x4 foot enclosure with as much bark and plants and hides as I could squeeze in there...and in no time, he was a tank...fat, and beautifully coloured...but in temperament, it never really recovered from trying to be caught, and even going anywhere near it with tongs and it would immediately gape and squawk. Due to it's past, I thought it best just to leave him be...he was pretty enough that just watching was all the interaction I really needed...still..another Tokay, another time....I'd really love to tame one.

    I noticed that the babies are eating some substrate with the mealworms, do you not have to worry about impaction with tokays?

    Can they be kept purely on a diet of meal/superworms? Pretty much all I ever see anyone feed them on video 😂 thought the chitin would be too much 🤔

      . Super worms are somewhat high in fat, but can be fed on occasion. They need a varied diet, for instance maybe on Monday you would feed crickets 🦗, then on Wednesday mealworms, And Friday some roaches and maybe even some super worms as a treat!
