How much do you sell baby tokay geckos for I'm looking to buy another one I got a female right now she very tame I've been raising tokay geckos for past 15 years but where I live they are hard to find to buy
It’s said that Tokay Geckos live up to 10 years in captivity. I’m sure you knew that though. Have you been raising up a male to put in with the lady’s or are you going to get one that’s not in the bloodline?
this is lucy's partner josi. the babies are doing super well and we are super honured to be mentioned in the video. we have named them sugar and spice. they come out and are most active right before bed. so blessed to have them in our home.
I love when I click on one of your vids, then see that it’s a nice long one… I pause, make a cup of coffee, then settle in for some nice footage and friendly instruction… thank you so much for the work you put into these!
I’m touched! Thank you for your support! Sometimes I’m worried that people find my videos too long! Nice to know they are ☕️🫖 and sometimes 🍿 worthy! 🙏🏼🦎
I love watching your tokay content! You're one of the people who inspired me to get a tokay back when I just started getting into reptiles. Now I always hang out with mine while watching your videos!
I have a leopard gecko. He was always hiding in his hides. I got some fake pothos for enrichment but it made him more comfortable. He moves around during the day now and will sleep outside of his hides.
Good on you man! I just added UV lights to my leo's tank and am a little worried the extra light will make them feel more exposed. If I do notice that I will definitely get some more fake pothos plants. Though maybe I'll try growing some real ones.
I actually have a multiroom Leopard gecko viv from a converted bookcase. Each room with a different function and slightly different parameters. The rooms are designed so that the most brightly lit and warmest are at the top and over the three levels it gets cooler and darker. All but one room has a heat source, either heat mats under slate or a DHP in his upper room. He loves the round windows in the bottom two rooms as he can look through them and still feel very enclosed and safe. What has been great to see is that he has learnt that when he goes into his feeding room (he can hunt freely without the insects getting out into my room) I will come over to him and give him food.
OMG I WANT ONE OF YOUR C.B. TOKAY GECKOS!! I absolutely miss my tokay ☹️ and it’s nice to know that they’re captive bred and would be easier to try and tame! I must have them all!
food, the way to a reptile's trust over time. 💜💜 i wonder if my cresties would like a bit of stone low in their habitats? oh! i didnt know the supers would eat the dubia chow. deffo gonna add some of that to their tub :D qotd: i'm actually getting ready to upgrade my juvenile crested gecko to his big kid enclosure! we're going for bioactive and i want to add more variety of textures and climbing opportunities. my adult crestie needs some fresh plants to mix it up a bit and i'm going to add a leaf pile since she likes to rummage in the moss and leaf litter we already have :)
QOTD I just added a natural straw nest with three sections into my Varanus prasinus (green tree monitor) Chomper's enclosure. The purpose of it will be to encourage foraging behavior by adding feeders into one, two or all three of the openings. Chomper was truly intrigued by it after just one feeding session. For just a few dollars, Chomper has a whole new way to forage. 🦎💚
Honestly I would use any thing that would look natural to their habitat and would look vibrant as well. Plus I am getting a Tokay myself for my birthday and I too would be posting videos about it. And the reason why I am getting a Tokay gecko is because of your Tokay videos. They showed me that they are not that bad and I would always watch your videos of the tokays more than any other videos. You inspired me to get a Tokay and you inspire all.I would LOVE to see MORE of your tokay gecko videos i love them. Keep up the good work
I upgraded my breeding trio of tokays into a 5 by 3ft handmade vivarium. My two females are both tamer than my cresties, I can pick them up and move them around with no fear of ever being bitten, they sit on my shoulder as I do housework and clean.
Helllllllllo You are an absolute inspiration and I wish that I could have as many amazing opportunities as of now I am 13 and live in Wales ( UK ) and have 2 tortoises that I have to separate because one is being a little meany pants. P.s keep up the good content I love watching your videos as they make me happy.
I am about to start my own upgrade for my corn snake. 4x4x2 with plans of fitting as much as I can inside for her. Some thoughts are a water fixture, an underground hide out, many climbing levels and a different style of humid hide.
Fantastic! She’s going to love that so much and it’ll be so obvious, you’ll see! The type of movement and behaviour that comes out of the animal when it has those options is so special! Thanks for sharing!
My ball python always seems interested in plants while exploring! He'll spend a lot of time tongue flicking them, and climbs rapidly onto the large Pothos vine when given the opportunity. I want to enrich his enclosure by adding in live plants! I have a couple plants ready for him, but I need to find the cord for the grow light and get that set up so those plants can establish and thrive. Why I ever stored it separately... 😅 organizing clutter isn't a favourite activity of mine, but caring for my snake is, so...! Perhaps all of us in this home can have our environments improved by this endeavor. 🌱
I have the thrive tree stump and some cork bark filled up about half the lower bottom of the tank. My goal is to utilize ALL the space for climbing and enrichment that way.
You inspired me. I know a local breeder (tampa) that has baby Tokay. I am meeting up with him tonight. I also have a Gargoyle, mourning and days. Breeder is doing crickets only.
Thank you! Great answer! Trust me, they'll use it! I have friends that breed them and give their animals UVB. They always share how they are basking during the day under it!

Question, a lot of the plants you use in your reptile enclosures are classified as poisonous, pothos is correct? Does it not affect reptile species? Or is it that they just don’t eat it? QOTD, I’m going to try to grow mustard greens and etc in my one bearded dragons enclosure, see if she may be interested in eating some, I’ll just do it in a pot so her substrate isn’t moist all the time and prevent any health issues
