Hey Dakotah I’ve got a Crested , Gargoyle and Chahoua and I don’t provide heat or UVB what would be the best way to approach more complicated husbandry It’s seems overwhelming to me but Day,Tokays, and Leopards seem so appealing
im under the assumption that you have the recessive variant of patternless, bred my patternless (non recessive) male to a normal and what i noticed is that the normal babies have cleaner and reduced in pattern they look a lot nicer as well.
Awesome video! One question I have is, I’ve got a large garden and sometimes get tomato hornworms, I’ve read mixed results about feeding them the wild ones due to potentially being toxic to pets because they eat the tomato leaves and that can be toxic but I cant really find a definitive answer, any thoughts on this?
Hey :) don't feed your pet with wildcaught tomate hornworms, no matter what plant you find them, they are poisonous. They feed on the nightshade plant family (tomato, also the potato plant for example) and all the stalks and leaves are toxic Actually don't use any species of wildcaught caterpillars, most of them are toxic 😅 Rule of thumb, if free roaming chickens don't eat it, that shit is crazy 😂 The captive bred tomato hornworms are safe because they are fed a different, safe, specific diet And of course, by using wild insects, even if they are not toxic, you have the risk of bringing parasites and other nasty stuff. Most of the time it's fine, it's not the end of the world, like everyone on the internet makes it seem to be, but if you can avoid it, its safer and better :) it may work alright 99 times, but it only takes 1 time to screw it all
Don't even have a tokay or want one but clicked immediately to hear the unhinged ad libs from Dakotah. Was not disappointed
No matter what it is, you'll always know the video is unhinged 😎
Hey Dakotah! you’re very dedicated and good at what you’re doing, so please go on!
Cheers from Switzerland 🎉
Matt
I appreciate it!

I have a doubt, you make the temperature drop in the night?

Just don't risk it. Your animals can survive without hornworms. It's all good
