Just got mine today. Finished the initial setup, I'm coming off of a logitech G29 and for me, this is a major upgrade. Fit right into my Sim, the pedals feel great, and I couldn't be happier with it.

I got mine last week. Now I take more showers on the day the wheel and me are in front of the TV, since updating and changing the default settings. It also warms my living room along with the PS5. Love it! 1st wheel ever. Will get more wheels when available, expeditiously if the buttons light up. I play in the dark.
My T 598 has a broken paddle shifter already the plastic hinges inside broke off. I sure hope they send me a replacement. It was fun but i was also having issues with the button mapping on ACC.
Just set up a new T598 and while the wheel is great with the games that actually work, it honestly has terrible PC compatibility (especially with all of the wheel buttons). Most of the games that I have tried (other than ACC) have required manually setting everything, there is no T598 preset for many games. Also, the wheel oscillates on many games, it was not just a PS5/GT7 issue (I am on the latest 2.07 firmware). I know the wheel has not been out long, but this is really disappointing and has me considering a return. TM... please improve compatibility and software support, this wheel is something special at the price point. Is there a different TM wheel that can be selected in games that lack support, where most of the functionality will be present?
On the T598 press Settings and the L3. Arrow right to the Steering Wheel the down to Rotation. This offers different rotations for the wheel and Auto. Try the different degrees and then spin the steering wheel for each. You will notice that the amount you cab rotate the wheel changes. You will also notice that the wheel stops very harshly when it reaches the Rotation limits. This type of limit Stop you don't want when driving so the End Stop offers several levels to how this can feel. Test the levels by going to End Stop and trying Low, Mid and High and you will feel the varying intensities. You will notice that it does not give you a hard Stop but make it difficult to pass the degree of rotation that you had set. Hope that helps.

I guess my wheel rim is installed incorrectly on the base. How do I fix this? It’s not showing on the control panel. I cannot adjust anything currently. I can’t factory reset it or use this product. I did update the base firmware but it didn’t fix this problem. UPDATE: After contacting TM support, I have got everything thing fixed and working properly. They gave me links with easy to follow instructions and I couldn’t be happier now.👍
@@mechlovin7627 are you locking down the collar? You have to lift the level, push the wheel all the way in, then clode that lever, and sometimes give it a bit extra to full close it
The wheel rim is attached properly. I think the firmware was deleted cause the microsoft store app did not update correctly. Thrustmaster sent me a different link and told me to do it manually. The base updated correctly following TM’s instructions, but the wheel rim is no longer being recognized. Waiting for an answer from TM support.
What exactly are you asking? All updates have to be done on a windows pc, and are software updates to the base, playstations have nothing to do with updates
Been asking ALL over the internet asking for help to why my T598 keeps disconnecting from PS5 still no answer . I have tried Thrustmaster face book & youtube page with no reply really starting to regret my purchase from Thrustmaster ! 😡😡😡😡😡😡

you are experiencing what we call "clipping", just turn down ffb on the game

You can use the load cell tclm pedal set on this wheel. I had upgraded this on my t300 rs gt and works perfect on the t598

What does the base show? If its not correct, itll show a wheel with a line through it, otherwise it is on correctly

Surprised the update software is only available on PC. Had to use bootcamp on my Mac 😒.
