Hello there I'm doing a Dr strange for Halloween and I'm doing this 3d tutorial ,by any chance did you ever finished the LED and motor to open and close?? Thank you for everything you're the best
If you don’t mind a question, I recently printed this and did a test fit and everything was working nicely. But after priming/painting, I couldn’t get the damn thing to open or close at all lol. So I’m just curious, what kind of paint did you use? Or does that xtc-3D stuff help in keeping the movement with the eye? I suppose my paint layers might’ve been too thick possibly, but I wanted a good protective coat.
Now this is an awesome prop from Doctor Strange! I think if you add more tops layers would solve that but it fixed itself? Weird. Either way, cool prop and finishing Clayton, will be printing one of these for sure!
No thank you for posting this and for the link to the Eye of Amagott? Amaretto? Mr. Roboto? You know, that cool prop thingy. And hey, next time your in Vegas, you should hit me up, sir.
Thanks for the Video Jessy and great job. The print issue looks like pillowing, I think that last layer might have been too thin or the cooling was not strong enough. Great result with the painting. I will try your techniques to finish mine off because I had difficulty in blackening the inner details. I'm guessing you got sick during the painting outside in the cold. Glad your feeling better.
I hate to break it to you, bro, but the face plate is upside down...
David Wade hahahahahha son of a. You're right hahaha well I guess I have to make another now
Sorry, man. I know it's a waste of material, but you seem like a stickler for detail, like me, so I figured I'd let you know.
David Wade I honestly appreciated it. And yea. Stickler for the details with these kind of things.

I aspire to have my designs be this epic, the people who designed it are beyond talented! You should definitely get into designing, its addicting :-)

I have a 3D printed one coming to me shortly. It would be great if you added the light and made a video on how you did it!
That looks great! Hopefully I can get a 3d printer soon.
