for the tube.. if you want to bend easier use a heat gun and warm it up a little until i gets pliable. instead of hot glue use CA glue, its super thin and drys in 20 sec. Ive used CA glue as a coating because you can polish it up and make a glossy hard to scratch finish.

When I made my latest arc rectors, for the light ring I took clear 1/4 in Plexiglas and took a circular drill bit and cut out a hole, then went a couple bit sizes bigger and cut out the ring, then I used my dremel to sand it down and make it opaque and murky, my latest arc reactor, I drilled in 1/2 way into the ring in several areas and inserted 3mm LEDs and wired them all in parallel

That would look a hell of a lot better if you weren't so damn reliant on hot glue. It's got its uses, but it's messy AF. You'd have been better off using superglue or epoxy resin.

if you want to avoid all the hot glue over the place (a lot of people commented that it decreased the projects value) you could use another foggy tubing that is more pliable, or you could use super glue instead of hot glue, or you could use a hot glue stick, shave it down a bit to be thinner, then put it in some warm water to make it more pliable, then glue it to the arc reactor (just some ideas)
