I have a 2021 durango Rt with 42k miles. Code is PO456. Every time i tried to pump gas at any gas station the pump keeps clicking. It takes me about 15 mins just to pump. Can someone help me out? Replacing this valve will help me?
Since this valve is pretty inexpensive, I would start with this for sure.

Back here to see if anyone can assist. So my purge valve line was cracked. I replaced it. CEL came back on about a week later, same 0440/0456 codes. Repalced the Purge Valve itself. CEL came back on about 2 weeks later.
Replaced the EVAP pump just this morning, removed codes, but in my reader it still shows a permanent 0440/0456 codes. After I installed this, I let it sit for 5 minutes running, drove around town for 30 minutes in stop and go traffic, came back home let it run for 5 minutes (Saw a video on this in which the monitors will run) but the permanent code is still there.
I called the local dodge shop and they were like, the code should go away when you clear it (which it does, but permanent stays).
Do I just wait and see in a week or so if the codes come back, or should i--or do i---have to get the permanent code removed?

Place the car ignition to on (but don’t start the car). Use the code reader to clear the code after you have replaced said components. Once you turn the car on the light should go away. You’ll have to drive it 15 miles or so to ensure the light doesn’t come back.
