Mine ended up being that the intake tube had disconnected from the throttle body. So keep an eye on that too.

Hi! I have a 2014 Dodge Durango. Already replaced that hose and the valve that goes just over it inside that plastic engine cover and had no luck. It lasted a couple of days at the most. What else do you suggest? I think to Keep looking for other leaks in evap hoses, canister, valve that goes by the canister, fuel tank gasket, gas filler neck (no gas cap on this model)... that´s what I come up so far. Any other suggestions?

You definitely have to check all those things.
For Vehicles with the cap-less filler system
Topping-off the tank (keep filling after it cuts-off), can cause the canister to be overwhelmed and eventually contaminate it to the point that it needs to be replaced...

Can you get a smog check after the code is clear? Or will is show up when getting a smog check?
After clearing the code, I recommend that you drive the car for at least 100 miles before taking the vehicle for a smoke check.

How long before the check engine light clears out after replacing this? I got mine changed and CEL still on with the same code.
After you fix it you have to clear the codes.

Check engine light usually goes away in 2 days by it's self
What year is this Durango? I have a 2019 & have this problem. I was watching other videos & the hose can fit the 2018 & 2019 models & are the same size.

I have a 2014 dodge Durango v6 flex fuel , I replaced that line you just replaced but I am still getting the “p0456” code any other suggestions?

Also can be a small leak in any of the EVAP hoses or fuel tank hoses or fuel pump/gasket.

I have a 2015 got that replaced and still can't get the light to turn off so I can't get my plates because it won't pass smog check.
