Since I discovered your video tributes, I don’t bother with any other. In your posting we appreciate the dignity you show to the celebrities without the “sensational” and dramatic narration. The occasional sound bites are such a nice touch! Thanks for the time you spend on these.
@@CSSP10 I watch Legacy but unfortunately they don't keep archives further back than about three or four years. I tried to rewatch a video for 2018 but it is no longer there.
I never realize until I watch your videos how many pass in a single year. Thank you for compiling them per year into a video. Puts so many things into perspective. Hope they are all resting in peace.
Harry Anderson did one of the funniest magic tricks I’ve ever seen. He did some appearances on SNL and in one he took a large needle and stuck it through his arm which made the audience gasp. One lady screamed as she saw him slide it in and out of his arm and Harry said “Lady! It’s a truck!!” and as he slid it again you saw a trickle of blood appear. Harry looked at it and said “Wait a minute, that’s not supposed to happen…” and while the needle was still in his arm he got out a book to read the instructions! A minute later he pulled the needle out revealing no blood at all
When I drove my truck at night cross country Coast to Coast AM was a show I listened to regularly. Never had a face to put to the name till now. No matter how kooky the caller Art would always treat them with respect .
I keep watching Cannonball Run and Cannonball Run 2. Unfortunately almost all of the lead actors have passed away. I also liked the original Longest Yard as well as the ones that you mentioned.
I never realized that both George H.W. Bush and his wife Barbara both passed away in the same year of 2018 about seven and a half months apart from each other.
Discovered this Tribute platform, it's Beautiful. Everybody from a average person to extremely Famous. Why is Marlene VerPlanck not mentioned?? Famous jazz artists worked with everyone from Kiss to Sinatra. Huge jingle singer in the 70s and did the most famous commercial of them all, Campbell's Soup. RIP: January 14, 2018
Actress Marta DuBois died May 8, 2018 at age 65 of a brain aneurysm. I knew her from the McBride series (2005-2008). She played Detective Roberta Hansen opposite John Larroquette as McBride.
6:44 Margot Kidder....Sisters, Black Christmas, The Amityville Horror as well as the first 4 Superman movies. Very saddening she did die that way. I really enjoyed watching her movies as a preteen and still do today in 2024.

R.L. Ermey acted in another movie about the Marines in the Vietnam War era called "The Boys In Company C". He also played a USMC Drill Instructor in that film too. I think that it came out around 1978. One of his lines from the movie, "Full Metal Jacket": "You can give your heart to Jesus. But your ass belongs to the Corps".
Jerry Van Dyke was a great actor, he was part of what kept the T.V. series Coach going. Later on discovered he was in a mid 1960s comedy My Mother, the Car. R.I.P.
SEMPER FI, GUNNY !!!!! Rest in peace, R.L. Ermey. And when I get to Heaven, Saint Peter I will tell, Aother Marine reporting sir, I've serve my time in Hell.
I thank you for your service. The ladies and gents who served in the military don't hear that enough. I've had several late family members that served going back to at least WWII thru the Vietnam War.
Why was Vinnie Paul Abbott left out? One of if not the best metal drummer of all time. Pantera was playing for over a million people with Metallica in the early 90s
For 2009 you left out not only Dave Diles but also Ismael Valenzuela but Ismael NEVER lived down having driven Forward Pass to the 1968 Kentucky Derby crown thanks to a 1972 United States Supreme Court ruling giving Calumet Farm (horse's owner) their 8th and FINAL Kentucky Derby title.

There's one more channel, but it has the recently departed as well as anniversaries.
Both of the two channels are the only ones I subscribed to.
@@LaVander-bl5ej oh yes, I don’t know if you mean Legacy but I misspoke when I said this is my only subscription…forgot about Legacy.

Very nice music for this one, thank you!
I never realized that both George H.W. Bush and his wife Barbara both passed away in the same year of 2018 about seven and a half months apart from each other.
I think that George H.W. Bush also passed away from what's known as "Broken Heart Syndrome" since he and Barbara were married for so long.
i know and they both died in their 90's in April and November 2018
Parkinson's Disease was the cause of his death.

Right, he was scheduled to play George Spahn, the owner of Spahn movie ranch where the Manson family lived. Bruce Dern took over the role
