I would ask that you not only remember them but those who risked their own lives, some in vain, trying to save the millions of people who contracted this horrible disease,-the doctors, nurses, EMTs, police, and hospital and doctor's office staff that came in contact with the infected and did their jobs. Remember too, the families who not only lost family members, but time and income caring for the sick, and burying and mourning the dead. And finally, this November. I would ask you to remember the one man who could have made a positive difference in the number of people we lost but chose instead to play to his base, and hinder efforts to control the epidemic by making light of the people who chose to wear masks and observe distancing, aligningn himself with the anti-vaxxers claiming it was a matter of personal choice, and continually pushing false cures and repeating false claims that the epidemic would end soon without further acts of the CDC and Dr. Fauci to require the people to do anything more. Television lost some great talent in Alex Trebek, James Lipton, and Grant Imahara.
