I had the 18" in installed on the 3 about 15k miles ago - very pleased with them, quieter than stock. $600 for 4 at Walmart, haul them to Discount Tires to be installed for $100.

Yea so far the Sailun tires have been the most efficient of all of the tires I have tested
I just ordered these to go on my 2023 Performance model Y. I went with 235/55r18 104Y XL. Tried to find videos of it before purchasing but didn’t see much until after purchasing your video pops up 😂.

Great info. I had the Bridgestones installed on my 22 3 LR in March for about $300 per by Tires Plus-noticed big difference across the board from OEM Michelins in terms of ride, quiet.
I’ve been very interested in these tires since they were announced.
I’ve had some other Sailun tires before and they were quite good doe the price.
Stoked just picked these up for my Model 3 off eBay for $480 after tax. Will come back with my $.02 after a few hundred miles. 🎉
This review from Gjeebs holds up well. Took my average highway efficiency from between 245-255 Wh/mi and brought it down to 215-220 Wh/mi @ 70mph. The tires make 0 tread noise. Handling is also great, no squirm or weird let go when hard cornering. The grip is a little more than I expected from an efficient A/S and it wouldn’t shock me if these said Michelin Pilot on the side.
My car is an Ex-hertz rental ‘22 M3 LR 18” Aeros with 2 different sets of non-ev tires on there. One set was Advanta and the other were Kumho both were uhp A/S. I thought my wheel bearings in the back were shot. Turns out the non-ev tires were making a terrible humming sound.
All in all for the price there is no other tire I will be buying.
You’re pretty much the only good review I’ve been able to find, just bought a set online through simpletires, swapping my old 17” with a set of 16” with fastev01 16”rims, maybe 10% increase with both of them, but I need new tires anyways

My 2021 Model Y lasted almost 50,000 miles on the OEM tires from Tesla. Had 19" Cooper ProControls put on for $950 installed, tax, out the door. They were fantastic. Basically the same energy usage as these Sailun's by the looks of it.

These things are $120 in amazon right now for my M3, I just had one conti patched at 9k miles and is loosing 2-3psi per day so I figured just buy 2 Sailun for less than one Conti and give it a try on the front 👍 $480 for 4 tires is an amazing deal specially if they increase range and make the car quieter
Can you test the Arroyo Grand Sport A/S. They are really cheap tires but great reviews

Looks like these are $150 each sold direct by Walmart for 235/45r18 for my 3 SR. Thats a lot better than the $250-300 for the Michelins. Im due for some new tires too. This feels sponsored, but sponsored or free or not would you get these over the michellins?
The standard Michelin mxm4 are kinda out of date. I’d upgrade to the Hankook Ion evo as if you want an oem tire that has more up to date tech. The Kia EV9 comes with these Hankooks installed. 🤙

Had Sailun winter tyres on my winter banger a few years (FWD turbodiesel family van). They were surprisingly good.

depends how much you want to spend. I think the hankook is a little quieter but I will be testing that soon

That is definitely not true. Almost no one has “Tesla oem” tires after their first set.

Not even just on a tesla, never use cheap tires. I dont want to imagine how these handle torque in rainy conditions, and if its my life on the line, you bet im not going to cheap out on something they keeps my car on the road.
