Negril Jamaica Idle Awhile Room 102 & Property Tour - July 2023

We stayed at the Idle Awhile Beach The Beach in July 2023. We stayed in a Deluxe Garden Room 102 on the ground level. We did not choose this resort as we were there for a friend’s wedding. The beach was beautiful. The louvered “windows” were not fabulous. Many of the louvered “windows” and the door had no screens so we could not open them. The bugs are serious in Negril. Ask for a citronella candle or two when you are checking in. They do bug spray the entire property more than once a week. Bring some kind of personal bug spray. I was eaten alive during the visit. There are bugs in the sand on the beach and will bite your feet and legs. The water pressure in the shower was not great.
