Oasis of the Seas Central Park Balcony Cabin 12645
On May 26, 2024, we boarded the Oasis of the Seas in Barcelona, Spain for a seven night Mediterranean cruise. My sister and brother-in-law's cabin was 12645. This balcony cabin overlooks the Central Park and faces inside the ship.

Was the laundry free during your cruise?
It was free when we were on the Discover Princess in 2022 and 2023 but not on the Majestic Princess in September 2023. On the Majestic Princess is was $3.00 US for wash and $3.00 US for dryer. The washing power was $1.00 US I think.
Best to take a small light 💡 for the closets then

Thanks!? Saw similar videos. One person was able to access the source menu from the bottom of the TV, no remote needed. Wondering if this still works? Additional tip was to unplug the LAN cable. Not sure of the reason. Either it (LAN) gets priority or maybe that’s how Princess monitors and declines access to people wanting to use the HDMI hack?
Thanks for your comment. No, there is not a button on the bottom of the TVs on the Discovery. The TVs on the Majestic do have that button you are referring to. We were on the Majestic again (third time for us) in September 2023. While you can use the button, it is more convenient to use the remote. That remote has worked on both the Discovery and Majestic for us. No a bad investment for less than $10 US.

No, we did not bid for this one. We chose to have an obstructed balcony to save some money.

Thanks for the video. Only comment I have is you do not need to go to the Bridge Cam channel. Any live TV station will work.
Thanks for the info. We had problems with the TV reverting back to one of the other live channels when we did not start on the bridge cam on the Majestic last week. It might have been an isolated incident with the TV.
@@Techwizardress That happened to me most times. It took two tries to get it to stay on the HDMI port. It always stayed after the second try. Interesting that you didn't have the issue on the Bridge Cam channel. Thanks again for the video. It should help a lot of cruisers.
how is it being right next to the elevators? did you you hear much traffic noise in the stateroom?
Thanks for your comment. We did not hear any elevator noise. The COVID quarantine cabins began two doors forward from us at the time so we did not have any noise. It may be different now. COVID cabins began at D630 moving forward.
