Man, I loved this. Every reference on the show to "The Mad King" is sort of meant as a punchline, but the life of Aerys II is a very tragic and somewhat sympathetic story.
I think Tywin also felt some personal satisfaction in sacking king's landing as a way of sticking it to Aerys. After all he had toiled for decades making the kingdom prosper while Aerys took the credit. For all his hard work Aerys rewarded him with scorn and trying to ruin him.

I thought it was a very bad episode. A clear message from the producers that they have no idea how to continue the Martell and Tyrell storyline so how about kill them all at once, then send the rest to help Dany.

JCO2able actually at the time it did one of the themes of the story is during the ancient times magic was more common. By the time of aerys life magic was basically seen as A myth. educated people like Tywin considered most of those stories to be myths. There is a theory that with the birth of dragons, magic returned to the world. Even people like Melisandre and the warlocks in qarth admit that their powers became much stronger recently and they aren't sure why.
I don't think so. Not only would it bankrupt the kingdom. But even if he did succeed the maintenance of such a massive system would far outweigh the returns the crops could ever bring.
I just have to point out that Pycelle is the source of the information which paints Aerys as incompetent and Tywin as great. Pycelle has a clear Lannister agenda.

If he had been king I do think there would have been rebellions as the major houses don't like the king lording over them too much. We don't know for certain, but during his reign, Aegon the Unlikely passed lots of laws that gave the common folks more rights, which made the lords of Westerose hate him. So it makes sense that Tywin would get rid of those laws first chance he got.
It should be noted that Egg posed as a simple squire for several years, serving Ser Duncan the Tall. During that time, he encountered many commoners and likely gained sympathy for them. Hence, him giving rights to the common folk. It was an extremely progressive move, and the right thing to do. We don't know all of the details, but obviously, the nobility were not happy with the reforms.
I think it means they had more privelege like a for example a humble pig farmer could attened a ball with lesser lords and no could say shut about it because it was quote commoner rights
Napoleon Arya's journey makes a lot sense than Varys. He was in Sunspear at one point, and by the end of the episode he is somehow on the Dany's ship going back to Westeros.

I think Aerys's failed plans could have helped the seven kingdoms, especially that one about building a pipeline to help dorne become lush and rich.
