it wasnt the best. I am sure it’s because I have tattooes and was dressed in trackies and a T-shirt and hoody. Im always to grateful for people spending money with me I go out my way to make there shopping experience wonderful
@@AaronTerenceHughes Very recognizable. If I'm just being comfortable, as in not dressed up and wearing make-up, the sales people often look suspicious at me; like what am I doing in the store? My 'dressed up with makeup' version gets a total different approach. Super shallow and ignorant of people! Sorry you had this experience.
Another great review Aaron , I don’t know this house , I can relate to the reaction of being ignored because of the way you look as I am disabled and a wheelchair user . The way I cope with this is direct eye contact with the person it helps sometimes it’s a shame some people have no manners you never judge a book by it’s cover .

Aaron, great review as always. I will be trying Velvet Haze by Byredo the next time I go to the Mall. Thanks for introducing me to this fragrance. I own a couple of Byredo fragrances but I have never smelled Velvet Haze.
Your story made me think of that part of Pretty Woman when Juila Roberts go to Rodeo Drive to buy a dress and the snotty lady wouldn't help her. Hate that people do that to one another, we're all just here living our lives the best we can.

Patchouli is beautiful! I didn't know how much I love it til I sampled a few of your patchouli fragrances. The one with jasmine and patchouli is amazing.
Aaron I had a similar experience at the Byredo counter at the sacks store in NYC. The lady at the counter was chatting with three other employees when I walked up to the counter and she peeled herself away from her conversation to ask me if I needed help. I told her I wanted to try a fragrance (can't remember which one). The whole time she helped me with one scent she carried on a conversation with her coworker and immediately walked away after I tried one scent. Naturally, it made me feel bad and I walked away from the counter too. I felt like making a complaint but I'm too lazy to go through all the trouble.

Black Saffron & Oud Immortal are another two great fragrances from this house! You should review both when you get a chance, although they’re pricey for what they are.. I think you’re spot on £80-120 would seem value for money IMO

I find it kind of ironic that people selling fragrances are looking down on the people who create them. Without people like you, these people wouldn't have that career and would be removed from their pedestal. Oh well. We can't change people. We can only be the people that we would love to encounter. Hey Aaron, you need to try Mojave Ghost from Byredo the same house, one of the most unique smells ever you will enjoy it. Also Accord oud is a delicious oud fragrance.
I love your fragrances and your videos. The only Byredo fragrance that made my heart skip was Pulp and I don't know why but when I smelled it I felt like the earth stopped spinning for a moment. I would love to hear your technical analysis of that perfume which might help me to understand why I was so affected by it.

People who studied Chemistry at A-level will know what Aldehydes truly are, I have done experiments on them and the amazing smells you can get is incredible.

Same happened to me in Tom Ford in London and many times in John Lewis. Horrible how they judge people. But I love the look on there face when you pay and spend a lot.

It was your experience, so you could of course read it better than I could, but based on what you're saying, maybe the people simply recognized you and shared it amongst themselves, with no intent to be rude. I think today what you experienced, based on the tatts or whatever, is _fairly_ rare, at least it is in my area of western New York. If it was what you interpreted, sorry you had to deal with it; the vast majority of people are accepting of others. And just to get this out there, I lean fairly hard right politically, and I know I speak on behalf of every righty I know as well (that we accept people readily), as desperate as the left is to always paint us otherwise. In that sense, actually not too far removed from what you experienced, we experience as a group. Getting close to 50k subs...been with ya since under 2,000...cheers! Thats so confusing to me. If i sold fragrances or exotic cars, its my job to be the face of the brand and welcome people and make sales. Ignoring people because of appearance would limit my sales.

The more video's you make, the more you put yourself out there. Eventually it becomes inevitable someone will recognize you. I think it's pretty disrespectful to draw attention to a person at that time. There's little respect for introverted people. As for the fragrance, I wonder if you have ever tried Margiela's Jazz Club?

Byredo is a swedish brand founded by one guy alone. He launched his first fragrance in 2006 and has worked his way up to where the brand is now.

Pulp is one of their most inventive..performance is amazing too. Very fruity without being sweet like so many fragrances out there. Very unique
I feel this way with Bal D Afrique. I haven’t tried Pulp, thank you for the earth stopping description, I will give Pulp a try now, so curious.

C10 is mandarin, Waxy. Strawberry is C16, Peach 14 and coconut C18.
i always get C18 and C14 peach and coconut and C16 and C10 mixed up when im stood in front of a camara and not in my lab. dyslixc error.
