You bought a work truck, maybe you should have bought the XLT or higher trim line to get what you wanted versus complaining about it (console shifter, chrome grill).
Hating mf
There is no f250 with a console shifter anyway. Really just a bigger storage and more cup holders.

You can disable the key chime in the software.
Center consoles waste a lot of cab space. Column shifters are up out of the way. Your truck is fine. Roads are bad here too. Gotta suck it up and appreciate you've got a good work truck.
The center console makes it a 5 passenger verses a 6. My 2006 crew cab only seats 5 people. I wish I had a shift on the column.

I have 2015 6.2 i only hate cause gas mileage from there out it best truck I have 120k, sometime u can hate ur truck but at the moment truck will make u happy after and I also have lockers in mine it 2wd
Fun fact if you jiggle the key the bepping stops in my work truck it does that
I’m pretty sure the window issue is a bad switch, not a design flaw. Or, they listened to your complaints and fixed it. My 2016 windows auto up on both sides. Mine has overloads on it and it still rides better than the ‘06 diesel I had. What I am glad to hear is that you are getting 11.6 mpg loaded heavy. I just bought my ‘16 not long ago and was hoping it would do well. I will be using mine to haul heavy loads too. Is that an engine tuner on your dash, or like XM radio? I was just wondering if you did anything to make it get the 11.6. Lol. I’ve heard stories that the mpg is gonna suck. But I was only getting 8.6mpg in my ‘06 6.0 diesel.
Yeah, that's an x m radio on my dash.. And the window issue, I changed the switch to a new one. And it still doesn't work.. So it's still a mystery to me why it is broke.. And this truck now has 226,000 Miles on it and I just had to replace the front wheel bearing for the first time.. Since I put this video out, that's the only thing I've had to replace other than the rear leaf Springs. They were worn out, So I put in heavier springs
Omg that key chime! I have a 2010 F350 and I'm about half tempted to rip the center console apart and get rid of that God damn chime. At one time I did think I found a good video on UA-cam how to disable it but I haven't got that far yet. It'll drive you nuts!

Most people don't like the base xL model grill.. The higher up trims have better lights and grill combos. Thanks for watching.

@gildroyboothe2548 No. They are actually extremely reliable engines. But make sure there's some kind of maintenance records on how well it's been taken care of.. Remember people who put cheap parts on cars and trucks and then complain about them Having problems it's not the vehicle's fault..
I love my 2011 6.2 gas F-250. You named stuff that was what it was designed as. Other than the window control breaking everything else is the model and trim you picked. I though you were going to say this or that is a horrible design or keeps breaking or something.
It has been a very good truck, one of the best ones i've ever owned.
You actually like that turn signal/dimmer switch? The cartoonishly long throw of the dimmer switch is less than ideal but the turn signal switch is enough to make me switch brands. Momentary for both lane change and turn absolutely sucks IMHO.
Forscan could probably deal with that door chime.
He wishes for a lot of things, did he not see the truck before buying it? How do you sign paperwork on a truck when you dont like half the things about it?
Maybe it was things that I didn't know. I was gonna dislike after owning a truck a few years.. But this has been one of the best trucks i've ever owned. Maybe I was just nitpicking a few things to put a video out there. Thanks for watching
How is it holding up. I may purchase one f350 dually 97k on it. Any major engine problems?
No it has been absolutely flawless.. As I'm sitting in a truck right now. I have 221000 miles. I haven't even changed as much as an alternator or starter. The only issue I had was with coil packs.. Everything else has been bulletproof

My auto up for driver side works, yours is broke
Yup .. Mine has been broke four about a year now.. And my unlocked button Doesn't work on the passenger side at all. I have to use the key fob to unlock the door...
@@Adventureswithmike1 those issues haven’t came up for me, I’ve been having lighting issues, just about every running light, blinker relay, and tail lights I’ve had to put new bulbs in

I need a truck because I use it for work. They're my money Maker. That's why I own two of them
I hate the key chime and how when you close the door all the lights sometimes stay on for almost a full minute, and I don't have the patience to watch it just to make sure they turn off...and the ride on mine isn't great (front suspension is worn out), especially on most of the dirt roads here in Oklahoma...and it's really annoying how when I get gas the pump stops frequently, because of the angle of the gas cap (flatbed)
Yeah these trucks are heavy and if you're driving them on rough roads aerially beats the hell out of them. See I live in Pennsylvania and our roads are terrible.
