All due respect sir, ebay/marketplace listings might not be your gig but that shit is well over $2-$5 lb depending on the item. Just plate weights are a guaranteed $1/lb. You should buy a 12 volt to 120 ac inverter and use that for your electric saws et al.. Get the 12v from your truck and let it idle as you work.

Prayers for your family and you Mike. Life is definitely uncertain at times. Hoping things get better for you. I cut up quite a few mobile home frames yearly and always use a Sawzall. Bent frames do suck because you will pinch blades. I use the Milwaukee Torch 14 TPI blades with great success. I also keep my cuts away from stressed areas to keep from getting pinched. If I do get a blade caught I just hit the release, throw in another blade and cut from the other direction towards the 1st blade. I also keep a 20lb sledge to knock frame pieces apart if you get a cut that can't be completed. Just some tips maybe you could use if needed..

It's hilarious that you think that rams are bad when they win awards from jd power for build quality every year. We're talking every company, not just trucks. Ram has won 2 of the last 3yrs followed by lexis. Just so you know, ford trucks are always in the teens and gm trucks are always 29th to 32nd. And gm is owned by china. Obama administration sold them in 2009. Most of your gm truck is made in china and shipped north America to be assembled. Almost every vehicle they produce has a factory in china. Fords 7.3l is garbage. It's okay of you're going to pull your little camper or boat on the weekends. But when they put them in commercial vehicles, they're done around 60k miles. These 6.4l had their last update in 19. They're fully forged. I know a guy who has a fleet of 5 3500 6.4l hotshots. They pull 16-18k lbs every mile and he's getting 350-450k miles before they nees work. He's getting the same life as the diesel without the bother of emissions systems. If you go to pro rodeo circuits, there are more rams than all other trucks combined. Ford is cheap and doesnt hold up and gm has electric failers all the time. You can't be pulling animals from olace to place with breakdowns. Then you miss a pay check by missing a ride.

I cut off the guard then hit the valve with a hammer to unscrew it. One scrap yard where I live pays #1 for tanks. I also use propane instead of accetylne for my cutting torches. It's more effient and free. I get enough propne tanks from scrapping that I haven't bought propane in almost twenty years.

I’m pretty sure the window issue is a bad switch, not a design flaw. Or, they listened to your complaints and fixed it. My 2016 windows auto up on both sides. Mine has overloads on it and it still rides better than the ‘06 diesel I had. What I am glad to hear is that you are getting 11.6 mpg loaded heavy. I just bought my ‘16 not long ago and was hoping it would do well. I will be using mine to haul heavy loads too. Is that an engine tuner on your dash, or like XM radio? I was just wondering if you did anything to make it get the 11.6. Lol. I’ve heard stories that the mpg is gonna suck. But I was only getting 8.6mpg in my ‘06 6.0 diesel.

Be very careful with those propane tanks. Exchange them for new full ones for like 25 bucks a piece. Scrap yards don't like them. Too dangerous!

First.. prayers for your daughter and family sir. I hope everything comes out good in the situation. Second, you were mentioning the guys coming in the scrap yard with junky trucks and trailers. We have them here too. One in particular that was way beyond bad all the time. Little S10 that shouldnt have been on the road itself, a trailer like your smaller one, no lights or nothing, not even a plug on the truck. Always coming in with tons of crap hanging off the sides, losing stuff going down the road. I always left him be until one day he got mouthy with me in the yard. I made a call to a couple personal friends who happen to be local cops...they met him on the scale and imponded his whole rig and arrested him. Had a warrant, no license, no insurance and they found a bag of pills in his truck. Havent seen him since....lol.
