1:57...that turbo whistle . Love it. Been watching you a long time, probably since 2010 when I was still in high school. I work in the auto business in sales and I learned MANY MANY things from watching your videos all these years, and to be completey honest I don't think I'd be where I'm at today if I had never watched that first video I seen of you (you did a 1986 Chevy crew cab dually) Just want you to know that! It goes beyond entertainment thanks Kyle
My husband as an absolute base 1996 F-150 XL RCLB. No tach, no AC, no headliner, no cup holders. Nothing it is absolutely bare bones. It’s got auto with the 300 Inline 6 in it. It had a very hard life before we got it. It has almost 200k miles on it, it leaked almost every fluid, and it was a rust belt truck all its life, so it’s got its fair share of rust. We put a fair few new parts on it, fixed the leaks (though it now has a new oil leak we need to diagnose), but it still runs absolutely amazing for how it was treated. We loving named it Frank. It’s old, beaten, tired, but he keeps on trucking. As you can see we’ve grown fond of this thing.
Hey Kyle! This is it! Cars from the 90s. Good old Kyle. I definitely wish you would continue doing 90s car reviews even though they were already on your channel. 😊
I have been following you since I was 8 years old, almost 13 years ago and I admired the cars that you offer for sale especially the 1989 Caprice Now I am 24 and I found your channel by chance This is a great work keep it up thanks
If I am not mistaken this is the last vehicle to have vet windows at least in the consumer market I do not know why cars got rid of them. They work very well especially on mile days below eighty degrees
I’ve seen 94-97 7.3s with over 500k on the clock. That motor hasn’t even been broken in yet. That’s a truck to drive on the weekends. It’s rare to find an OBS under 300k let alone under 200k or even close to 100k. 1994 was the only year where 3 engine options were available from Ford in the trucks. 7.3 IDI NA, IDI-TURBO, 7.3 Powerstroke. Most opted for the IDITurbo cuz that was the last year. Ford made IDITurbo from factory in 93-94 abt 1.5yrs.
Has a 97 with a 5 speed and that was an awesome truck. Very quick in 3rd and 4th gear. My only complaint was be the seat height being 6'4". Then I upgraded to a 99 with an auto. Much more comfortable but a bit of a turd in acceleration . Both could easily tow 5k without knowing the weight was there. Then I switched to Duramax. The unreliability is another story...
My pops had a brown on brown two tone '96 XLT F-350 longbox with a topper when I was 4-5, used the bed as playhouse with my sister throughout the early 00s until my pops sold the truck in exchange for a then new 6.0L F-450 Flatbed.
Ford briefly sold the old 96 F150 alongside the all new '97 F150. The heavy duty versions continued to be based on the old bodystyle until the new for 99 Super Duty trucks were available.
i've got the same truck not as nice but it will get there. i absolutely love it. not the perfect truck but more people stop me asking to buy it than the law allows.
Hey Kyle! Do you remember me mentioning in the last video on your 2002 Ford excursion XLT. That I had a 2002 Ford F250 super duty lariat power stroke 7.3. Mine has leather too. But it’s gray.
Na początku filmu słychać jak głośno pracuje diesel. Znam to, słyszałem warkot silnika. XD
Legit question, has anyone with hood support springs ever experienced a failure not due to extreme impact? I feel like spring hood supports just last an eternity, especially compared to hydraulic hood-struts. In fact, I don't know if I've ever heard of them failing... even after the vehicle it's attached to has rusted into the ground.
This FORD represents what AMERICA used to stand for. POWER, LIBERTY AND FREEDOM. Back when AMERICA was powerful and gas prices where somehow affordable.
Has a bit of a skip in the beginning. If injectors or the under valve cover gasket hasn’t been replaced it may be a good idea help with fuel economy too
Where can I get that wrapped around kit with those running boards lighted. I need that for my truck. Mine is an 88 but it's all that same body style. Let me know where I can order a kit like that please and thanks. You have a beautiful truck by the way

Man...so glad to watch a SaabKyle04 car review. Brings me back.
This video is WAY under-viewed. I'm not particularly a Ford fan but this truck and this video are awesome! Thank you for reviewing this.
God, I miss trucks like this
That is the most cherry powerstroke I have ever seen. Literally lol. So very very good. Love your content, Kyle!

These older contents are definitely one of my favorites
Dam brother this bring me back to the old days of your channel . Absolutely love it 👍👍
I have to admit, that is one great review of the Ford truck!
Also, it's nice to see these OBS Ford F-Series trucks up and running.^^
Hey Kyle! This is it! Cars from the 90s. Good old Kyle. I definitely wish you would continue doing 90s car reviews even though they were already on your channel. 😊
As a Brit, this is exactly what I picture when I think of a big American truck. What a sweet ride.
My dream truck is an OBS dually. This year will be the year I buy one. I already have a 94 F250 & it's been great.

You are BLESSED to have that. It's beautiful.
I love old school diesels!
😮 Potężny pickup. Z chęcią bym obejrzał kolejne recenzje aut z lat 90.XX wieku, tych które nie były pokazane na kanale.
Translation: Powerful pickup. I'd love to see more reviews of cars from the 90s, which haven't been shown on this channel yet.
My first diesel pickup truck! Good job bro.
Thats AWESOME. I always wanted an OBS dually diesel.
I think this is the best looking old ford ever. Im a chevy guy, but wow. It looks good but not dumb. what a truck.
I use to have a 2012 f150 but sold it for a 2000 f250 with the 7.3. just something about older trucks
Getting ready to buy the same model tomorrow wanted to make sure she’s as much of a sweetheart as she looks and she is thanks for the info 🎉

Oh my gosh, I really wanted this truck badly.
My pops had a brown on brown two tone '96 XLT F-350 longbox with a topper when I was 4-5, used the bed as playhouse with my sister throughout the early 00s until my pops sold the truck in exchange for a then new 6.0L F-450 Flatbed.
Sold.
I don't care what the price is.
Just, sold.
Wow, odd to see an XL trim conversion, usually it’s the top XLTs. Nice truck, mid 90s F Series are some of the best Ford trucks.
I prefer an obs chevy still... but gatdayum is this a good looking truck
Beautiful truck
My favorite pickup truck
Since you did this one can u do the 2004 Ford F150 4x4 5.4L triton
That is a really nice looking truck.
Nice ride! She’s a gem for sure, reach out if you ever need any help with her!
Have a 1995 F350 7.3 Centarus conversion up here in Canada about a hour north of Toronto. Might reach out.
What a nice truck
I've got this same body style but mine is a ambulance conversion and I love it

With mud terrain tires looks much better and aggressive. Greatness

Love this truck!
Could you please make a video about sound deadening, especially with how effective it was?
I love old school trucks and suvs
This FORD represents what AMERICA used to stand for. POWER, LIBERTY AND FREEDOM.

That's right. I'd rather daily driver a 1999 Chevrolet SUBURBAN with leather seats than any other modern newer plastic unreliable SUV
@@Lorenzo-wl5xt Do you just keep copy and pasting this same comment everywhere?
