This Bear Creek Arsenal HUNTMASTER side charging .30-06 Complete Rifle has an 20" light-weight barrel with a parkerized finish, and features a 1:10 twist, with a rifle length gas system. This .30-06 Rifle includes the new 15" mlok split rail, a billet side charging upper receiver, a BC-8 Bolt Carrier Group, Flash Hider, right-side charging (Gen2) handle (patent protected), 3 lbs velocity trigger, and the BC-8 lower assembly with (2) 5 round proprietary BCA Magazines.
Pre shutdown I assembled an Aero 308 over a year plus to spread out the cost. I don't know if I overpaid, but I got the complete upper for $950. Later I bought the Aero lower, so it matched. Once I was done with the parts, and a velocity single stage trigger, it was about the same cost as the BCA-8. The 300 WM isn't much more, but for some reason the 30-06 is really calling to me. This example is a shooter right out of the box, and I would love to see what it could do with the latest long range projectiles.
It's a Velocity trigger! Tom the owner of Velocity spent about 13 years at Timney Triggers and about the same amount of time at Knights before he started his own trigger company. I have 5 of the 3lb single versions and no issues with any of them yet. He offered a 20% military discount when I purchased mine. I bought them over a three year period and they have always been great quality! So far so good!
I was ab to say...I have a velocity trigger made for the 762x39 primers and it's a bad mofo...single stage flat face and think it's a 3.5lb man it pulls good

I have the Noreen long range 30-06 and with my hand loads I'm getting half MOA.
Its a 2.5-3lb trigger... gotta pull straight back as if your were pulling the trigger. The upper has been beefed up for the higher pressure cartridges and of course the barrel and extension can handle the pressures. I have had good, the bad, and the ugly from BCA. Overall I will not complain about 90% of the products i have tried. If they paid quality people quality wages their products would be coming off the lines with pride. Just not the case at their facility. Saying that, like ive said before, save your cabbage for a Nemo, or the Falkor Defense. The build quality and engineering in these 2 rigs are unmistakable and obvious when in the hands. Amazing build quality, for 2.5 times the price. On a budget, want a 270, 30-06, or a 300 winny in an auto loader with a detachable mag. Go BCA and just be happy. Tear that thing apart, clean it up, build it back with appropriate torque and grease and youll have a nice shooter.
If just a range toy, or hunting, my Garand or Remington 7400 is less cumbersome to lug, and both holdmore ammo. E-mailed BCA & asked when will they have higher cap mags? If not, why buy it, in my opinion.

I purchased 2 AR10 over a year ago I looked down the barrels when I get them to clean them I don't see no rifling I can't seem to get them to understand my problem I'm used to seeing rifling in a barrel I don't see nothing but scratches they just can't grasp it so I got 2 bad barrels
Bear Creek Arsenal is trash. Too many horrible stories about their products.
I have several and have had no issues at all with any of them.

I was goin to buy their .308 14” but after reading all the reviews and watching tons of vids warning of their products and potential issues made me go other ways. I’ll only make fun of you if it’s not reliable.
