My phone say's it's -11c in Edmonton today, I will never understand how you can work in below Zero. Here in the south of UK we are well into spring with 11c and warm sun shine, and each day is getting warmer than yesterday, roll on the Summer, Del UK
Winnipeg here, you just dress for it and it's the same as good weather just a bit slower...gotta keep tool batteries warm...other small changes make the working season all year...having Canadian blood helps too 😅
@@michaelcornell5726 Nope. Just pointing out he mentioned needing to put that down there a few episodes ago. Based on the change to the upstairs tub surround, I'd bet they changed the basement one too. But it still has to get down there...
@@Thecrazyframer I bet! Without a guide on top, the wind and uneven weight makes it want to spin like a leaf in a hurricane. Good work even with the obvious censoring!

@@denty32 got into my truck this morning and it was still -13. however it has been fairly sunny and clear the last few days. the exception being yesterday, I got snow at my place.
The sheathing is shear brace and it’s probably 100x the amount of shear brace needed to pass code anyway and he goes through and straightened all walls and temporary braced internal and external, he does this on every single frame , same as any carpenter, bracing is the first thing that you think of
I think i would take the batteries with me or carry a jump pack. I hate dead batteries... and on a second note your gonna kill your knees plopping down like that, now get off my lawn ;)

+15c here in southern Ontario, nice country up there but no thanks, take care and stay safe.
Good man. Never walked under his lifting load. Nice to see there are limits to some of his risk taking. ;)
Awesome work man!!! Aren't there enough carpenters up there? I've never seen anyone build a house by themselves
Talk about social distancing 😂😂 keep up the good work brotha
Great job CF
Looking good 👍
Positively crazy guy!!!! Good job!!!!
I like that lifting jib. I’m going to build a version of that to mount on my loader bucket to lift shingles onto my roof. Can’t wait.
Ugh.
7 18 I saw you go up like nothing, then craw across a 2x4, dude you don't even need a ladder. I can say you are better than spider man.
Watch the frostbite... Can sneaks up on you. Great video.
just waiting for this!!!! lol.. keep at it man, appreciate your dedication!
Is the fork lift like a diesel truck can they plug it in at night ?
I've always liked more rpms when working with lifters and loaders, find more oil flow gives more control. Keep 'em coming, but stay warm dude 😉

as an expat you never really get "used" to it, although after 13 years I don't notice it as much as before

Yeah - I'm waiting to see that too. I'm sure it will be interesting.
Same here. I was thinking I was the only one wondering about it.
I bet you were the same people worried about the posts in the basement in season 2

Y’all need a block warmer on that lift!!

Looks like Edmonton isn't warming up as fast as the rest of the arctic, been keeping it above 0c most of this winter in southern Finland.
WOW! You impresse me!
Looks like my estimate was longer than necessary... great job🤠👍🔨
Just when you think he couldn't possibly be any more versatile...

I didn’t know it is possible to get the roof pieces up alone. Little magic, right?
Lots of swearing. If I posted the unedited videos of that lift, my channel would be demonetized. lol

Never heard of densglass, why not osb?
fire resistant
Densglass is used as a fire barrier between the buildings. OSB will catch fire quickly and possibly help to spread the fire to the building beside it.
Densglass is better at preventing moisture during and after construction. Plus it provides a better insulating layer.
DensGlass Sheathing adds performance and durability to a wide range of fire-rated and non-fire-rated building assemblies. www.buildgp.com/product/densglass-gypsum-wall-sheathing/
Densglass is weaker than osb but it’s fire resistant and a tiny bit better for moisture and mold resistance although both fail at 30%.
You crazy fucker! lol At 7:17 it looks a lil f'd up there. Hopefully its just the camera angle.
I'm pretty sure you're supposed to yell 'PARKOUR!' when you do the climbing and sliding.
wow .. epic!
Maybe dog houses.

I can work in the cold but not without the radio 😂
Seems foolish doing this yourself , couldn't have one guy to help ?
Then he wouldn't be called the Crazy Framer.
